How do I degauss the orb?
I was playing around with the hacking goggles from Jazztronauts SWEPs on this map when I noticed some odd triggers attached to the mysterious orb. Specifically, triggers that can cause shaking and different sound effects, a trigger to vaporize any objects attached to the orb, and two mysterious ones labeled "artefactVphysTrigger" and... "artefactExploder". Unfortunately, those last two don't seem to do anything.

All of these triggers are also labeled "artefactDegauss". None of these triggers seem directly connected to anything else on the map, so I have no idea how to, well, trigger them without just using the hacking goggles. Is there something on the map that I can bring to the orb that will degauss it? Or are these just leftovers from a scrapped map feature?

The artefactVphysTrigger entity is responsible for the particle effects you see on physics objects when they're pulled towards the orb. Everything else is mainly leftovers from an idea I never finished. There's nothing built into the map that lets you trigger it. However, you can see part of the intended effect by attaching some objects to the orb, and then running the following console command in singleplayer mode or as a server admin:
ent_fire artefactDegauss trigger

oh hey, thanks for the quick response! the command does trigger the degaussing sequence, which is pretty cool. this is a really great map and you should be proud. thank you so much!
