Bugs and Glitches
Hi all,

The purpose of this Discussion is to offer a centralised location for players to submit any bugs, glitches or issues they have with the map in order to help the creators out with repairing them.

If you find any please be concise in what you did, where you did it and what happened.

The Game Justs Freezes up on me. I don't know if other Steam Workshop Mods or Just Mods don't work with this one.

Can you try disabling all your other mods first and then try this campaign and see if it still freezes? This campaign allows mods so it's likely another one of your addons crashing you.

Found a couple infected ladders that don't work.

I don't really know if my feedback is "valid" as I like to play with super hordes on, but this map crashes 24/7 with it on. Regardless, I'm curious if you used a lot of prop_dynamic entities instead of prop_statics, as a prop_dynamic adds to the entity limit while a prop_static does not. Prop_dynamics should only be used if you want an animation for a prop or you want it to glow, etc. If you are just using prop_dynamics instead of prop_statics for no reason then you are adding to an entity limit which creates crashes. I got through the first map perfectly fine, no crashes, but every map after that I crash.

Also, prop_dynamics create ugly shadows that phase through walls and stuff.

Again, if you don't think a guy who likes to play on super hordes is enough to try and fix it, that's fine. But please, look into it so I can play it my preferred way.

Thanks! They should all be fixed in the next update. I'm going through every ladder on every map and checking them all personally (although there are hundreds of them, so I hope I didn't miss any).

It will be very hard, if not impossible to fix the map to work with your super horde system by reducing entity count. The reason is that each of the maps in Remix are up to twice as large as the Valve maps, due to all the extra details and additional paths added. I might be able to reduce the entity count a tiny bit, but nothing significant without neutering the map entirely (maybe a 5% reduction at most). And yeah, I know how prop_dynamics work. They're used properly, I'm not an amateur mapper. :steammocking:

Are you using any other addons? You should try the map with all other addons disabled and see if you still crash.

Alright, sorry for underestimating you. If everything was done properly then I guess it's just unfixable without removing important things/visible props. I'd rather you keep the map the way it looks and functions, rather than cut it down for just one guy. Thank you for replying, though.
