Due to the developer of the mods of Rimmu-Nations help, he said the best armor to roll with is the Russian helmets, and body armor, the mechanix gloves, and combat boots. For me in using at the moment everything above except the Russian helmets are the black similar ones to Russian helmets and a mix of Russian armor and Crye cage. For guns? I’m in between L85A2, M4 Variants, or the XM-25. Being my lazy self, I’m pretty much basing off my choices off of market value and damage. So any tips with weapons would be appreciated aswell

Personally run Clean House MICH/Boonie + Crye JPC Clean House/UKSF (UK Equipment mod) and Tactical Poncho for fun. With the CAS mod, you can run ghillies for pretty decent camo. For guns, C8SFW and (if you have the sidearms mod), make them pick up at least 1 SMAW or Carl Gustaf for centipedes. For my archotech enhanced colonists, they're packing 1 C8, 1 SMAW, 1 C9A1 MINIMI and 1 intervention each
There's no statistical reason I just like the UKSF

Im a big fan of the 7.62x51 NATO rounds for standard weapons. This has the greatest penetration and damage of rifle-caliber rounds, so they work well against most targets. I typically use XM8s. SCAR-Hs, and the H&K MG5 for ballistic weapons.

yep i usually go with 7.62x51mm just because of the stopping power for enemies that have helmets or body armor

personnally i like the m4 blackout variant for its better pen but its also relatively light and accurate
