Biotech genes for eye color?
Would be pretty neat, or is this already a thing?

I don't think it is, biotech eye color genes actually look awful with this mod, as the eyes are draw on weirdly.

Yeah it would be cool if we got a similar treatment like with hair how it can be a actual gene that affects the coloration.

This mod needs some work before I'd call it fully compatible with 1.4 & Biotech.

so basically it just needs to take into account the eye genes rather than assigning it randomly

Yes, default biotech eyes only, they are red and gray color. The official implementation is terrible. It has color information internally, but everything is set to white. The color is changed by texture, so it is not possible to change the color by code. This mod supports changing eye color by Def only, so if you would like to change it when using other authors' eye color mods, you can make it easily.

Hey nals, sorry to bug you again but I noticed a slight issue with your mod, if you remove a gene from a pawn the eye color sticks until the save is loaded, can you fix that?

Also would it be possible for you to allow both eyes to be customized by a gene seperately? It would be nice to be able to make two colored eye genes more easier.

I used the Character Editor to add and remove the red eye gene, but I have confirmed that it reverts back to the original eye color. Would you please tell me the procedure to reproduce the issue?

Weird I basically do the same thing, it happens with my mods or anything that adds custom hediff genecolors for me atleast, even in my about to be released EyeGenes2

Hello, I wanted to thank you again for your tremendous work, it's helped a lot in EyeGenes 2 however I wanted to ask if there is room for a possible expansion on what genes could change, it would be nice if we were able to select which textures a gene could use, or be able to instead of selecting both eyes, select the left or right eye, would this be possible? it would help a ton to have more customization with the genes.
