However, if I think I know what you are talking about, try disabling lighting (right click in the veiwport and uncheck the thing that says "Enable Lighting") then move the blue marker thing in the timeline a bit, then enable lighting again (the same way you disabled it, click on the "Enable Lighting" to check it). That should fix the issue.
Also yeah, that's exactly what I was thinking with his super model. They also did that in brawl.

Oh, It's supposed to be like that. I made it that it uses the environment map of the map to make the shoe reflective
To remove this,
1. Right click on the model in the Animation Set Editor,
2. Click "Add Override Materials"
3. Right click on the model in the Animation Set Editor again, and hover over "Show in Element Viewer" and then click "Model"
4. Scroll down until you see materials, and click the "+"
5. Right click on "def_shoe_shoecolor" and hover over "Add Attribute" and click "float"
6. Where it says "newAttribute" replace that with "$envmaptint" (without the "")
7. Finally, set the value to 0 (it should be set to that by default)
That should remove the reflectiveness, but still keep it shiney. Also this method is only a temporary fix, and will only be applied to that model particular model.
I was thinking of removing the reflection, or toning it down on his shoes in the next update, since they don't really do that in smash ultimate.
