I just wanted to first say I haven't yet finished The Deep One.
So anyway, you're definitely off to a good start. You've started a story I like. The references to Dagon, the Lovecraftian beast from the sea. They're both cryptic and clever, and that's honestly pretty cool. The story overall is also exciting. I loved seeing my character's story continued from Dead Man's Switch. I feel like my Elfin Machinist still has a lot of potential and a lot of shadows to run. The nwe characters you've created; Annie, Rickshaw, and the crew from the docks, are all pretty cool, solid effort here.
However, there are still some gameplay kinks and bugs, and the difficulty curve is a little annoying. My character, the above mentioned Elf Rigger Umbra has almost 280 karma and I still felt a pang of annoyance whenever I ended up having to clear a room of like 11 guys with SAS level marksmanship and always end up scoring crits. I might just be unlucky, but that'd be a dman shame because I think this fanmade story has a lot of potential.
Overall, solid 7.5/10
