[Spoiler] Early play
Hi,

Very nice work with a lot of good idea, some points from my play :

- my riffle street sams didn't take any damages in the funeral run
- Labs run was pretty fun
- Didn't try the recue run
- Neer the siletto area, their is a bike with nuyen in, once you collect it, the bike is this "actionable"

So far one of the best UGC out there ! Congrats !

Thanks for the feedback! I changed the bike. Going to rebalance the combat encounters once all of the gameplay bugs are fixed.

Good to see you are aware of the combat balance issue, The Stilletto Area itself seems a bit to difficult, I'm on Easy and I still pretty much die halfway into the run. Some might call that a bonus, I kinda feel like at least on Easy I shouldn't be taking 30 Damage on my Rigger who does not have body maxed, plus you only go in with Coyote, it might be more reasonable if you could get a few extra hands. Otherwise I enjoyed the bit I played though I'm pretty much screwed at the stilletos, I notice some of the gangers are really hard to hit I assume either Wired Reflexes, High Quickness or Dodge.

Been playing and I'm all the way up to the run on the Brain Eaters. Your combat is VERY lopsided. With a 9 in pistols I'm barely managing 40% to hit, but they're gunning me down with 25 damage per hit assault rifles? Couple that with your new team mate being very min-maxed to the point where it almost makes the primary PC underpowered.

I've finished playing through this through to the "named boss fight" (trying to avoid spoilers, if the name of the module isn't a give-away :)) and done a couple of the Mr Johnson solo runs too -- nice work!

Some (hopefully constructive) comments about the module:

1) Coyote's dialog needs some work:
a) The stuff about the various gangs comes over as a huge infodump, and it doesn't really sound like authentic speech. I don't think you need to describe the gangs in quite so much detail, just a "thumbnail sketch" will do.
b) when you mention Sam Watts, she says she hasn't seen him in ages... since he's been dead for a year, and she knows that, this is a bit jarring.
2) her abilities are really limited -- she really could do with a better shotgun, and the skill level to go with it. Maybe a smartlink, and some points in decking to mark targets wouldn't go amiss either.
3) Some of the player character dialog is also a bit stilted and could do with a bit of polishing.
4) In my playthrough, the mage that appears in the first combat scene was actually called Eshevari Eve, one of the hireable runners from the DMS campaign -- and not the "unnamed mage" whose identity you discover later.
5) The merchants in the new hub were mostly called "random runner" -- is this a limitation in the game? It would surely be simpler just to keep the same (named) people there all the time.
6) Item mods -- I didn't find any such things during the game, is this yet to be implemented?
7) There are too many Shaman enemies for the solo runs! Unless you can either "Confuse" enemies, or summon spirits yourself, it's easy to get swamped.

Awesome feedback, guys! I will take it all into consideration for the next version (1.9). Combat rebalancing is complete. I think I found a good balance between challenging and frustrating. :-)

Looking forward to trying it out. I agree with Ancaglon about the dialogue. It needs to be punched up a bit. I know it's a lot to do on your own. I'm loving it so far!

Just re-ran the Brain-Eaters. Much more balanced. Thanksfor being open to ideas gevrik!

Thanks, Skippman. The text is being reworked by a native speaker as we speak! It might take a few days, but the textual update is coming!
