Oddly, y does 1 char have 4 AP and another 3 AP
Both characters completed Deadman's Switch, but I still use my troll as main as she's got 4 AP without any gear to add any. Just curious if you or anyone playing might know why.

not sure if it's related, but i noticed that when I earned my 4th AP point, it actually went to one of my drones (went up to 5) instead of my character which stayed at 3.

Also when I try raising my main's body to 11 she actually loses HP.

Sound like game client issues, nothing I can influence from the scripting side!

Weird - now my main leveled normally from 113 to 123 HP. Not sure what was going on or why, but I tried again with her all beefed up from the beginning of The Deep One and now she seems to be taking on assigned stats fine. Makes me curious to test the skill resetter again.

That's another toon finished with the Bug Shaman in normal mode, like my 4 AP troll and this one only has 3 AP too. Do trolls get more AP points to make up for their lowered side stats like charisma?

You troll is a character you made when the game was just released?

There was a bug that would give chars 4AP, instead of the maximum of 3.

So your Troll is bugged, simple as that, no player char can have more than 3 inert AP.

Did not know about the 3AP cap thing. I played some other content that had 4 AP on all the dudes you could hire and a few even had 5.
I actually thought it was increased by 1 every 100 karma. Pretty sure all my endgame characters have 4...
Can you point me to some wiki or something that explains all of that? I am making some UGC and don't know if I have to manually pump up the characters of if they will get there on their own.

The maximum inert AP for characters is 3 when they get 150 Karma points - no more AP after that unless you buy cyberware that gives +AP. This is for player characters.

For NPC you set the amount of AP they have in their attributes screen, there is no limit to the amount of AP they can have... but NPC who are not set as "boss" can only attack once per round (or reload)...

This is all explained in the SRR Wiki.

Since version 1.2 of the client storycrafters can now set a new karma threshold for 4 AP! For the Deep One I set it to 320 Karma points.
