Simple Object Bug
I'm currently building a multiplayer mission and populating the world with a large number of 3CB civilian vehicles with the "simple object" option checked as these are just "atmospheric" props. What I've noticed is if I save and reload the mission file or play the scenario and jump back to Eden the 3CB vehicles seem to have reset their attributes and the simple object option is unchecked.

I've tested this with NATO and RHS vehicles and those work properly, I've gone through the attributes and unchecked options like randomization or anything that I believe could conflict and I've not been able to solve the issue.

So I just wanted to throw this out there, it's not a deal-breaker, the mod is great, I'll just have to use other vehicles to populate the world unless someone else has a workaround.

Hmm, thanks for letting me know. Never had this mentioned. Not sure why the simple objects setting should be affected. I'll have a look.

Okay, good news and bad. Worked out the cause of the issue. Fixing the specific problem you mentioned involves adding a Simple Objects class to each vehicle in the pack. That is fine. However, I'd then need to go through and add certain things to a 'hide' list so that when you make them Simple Objects their headlights, brakelights, muzzle flashes, interior lights etc... wouldn't be permanently switched on when they are simple objects. That is a longer winded process and not one I can do before I intend to release the update as each vehicle would be different. I can't just copy and paste it into each vehicle config. It is something that would need to be looked at in greater detail at a later date.
