CoH2 IJF MOD SUGGESTIONS - Campaign Mode and Maps - The Pacific Front

Here are some of my ideas and suggestions that deal more with maps and campaign for an expansion/mod to CoH2. I really like the Mod you have going, and I thought I'd throw my two cents in and see if any of my ideas might stick.

I don't have much modding experience, so not sure how hard or even if it would be possible to develop these, but I would not mind helping out in some way to contribute and keep this mod going. If you need any help with the Mod just let me know. I used to be a graphic designer so I might be able to help along those lines, but not sure what else I can do. I just downloaded the CoH2 Tools and was going to play around with that.

These are a few ideas I have had on the back of my mind for a while now. They are based off of another mod and effort to bring a viable Japanese Faction to the game. I am just thinking out loud and posting all the ideas I had. Feel free to take and drop what you like and don't like. Just brain storming and spitballing ideas. They come from things I have read about the IJA. I can send you links to the references and resource materials.

CAMPAIGN MODE IDEAS (THE PACIFIC FRONT)

The campaign game includes playing as Russian Soviet or IJA in War in Mongolia and Manchukuo, either the British or Japanese in Burma and Malayan Campaigns, and also play as American or IJN/IJA at Guatemala and Iwo Jima. The stories lead up to the final ending of the war with the nuclear bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

MAPS IDEAS for the PACIFIC FRONT and IJF

Night Maps - new maps with less view range at night. I believe there are night maps already, it's just implementing the lesser view range mechanic for an idea I had for one of the Doctrine Commanders (Night Actions Doctrine).

Jungle Maps - Maze like trails though dense jungle, lots of cover make short line of sight in dense jungle terrain making things like close combat and short range more effective. Can be combined with Night Maps to have a insanely close combat and sneakiness.

Mountainous Maps, Monsoon, and Harsh Terrain Maps with weather tech in maps such as the mud maps where it slows down troops and where vehicles have trouble moving in. Also places like on the Shore, Beach, and Island Maps where weather such as water, sand, and mud has an effect.
