However, this mean that a pop-up appear every single time you finish scanning a system. It become annoying very quick. Sure it can allow you to yoink archaeology sites without spending influence, but 99% of the time you'll just press the 'No I don't want to claim this system' button.

It wouldn't so annoying if there was a way to turn it off, like if instead of giving you a Feature, it gave you an edict or policy, which would allow you to turn it on or off depending on if you want to claim the next few systems or want to be left alone while your science ships do their things.
