You can us any Even numbers there. The Even Numbers are representing the Piston movements. The script will not accept an Odd number.
You can find a position that you like with this, then you can Start the script from there.
You can add Advanced Components any time to the script, by renaming that block and using the "Refresh" command. If you want to remove an Advanced Component safely, then Pause the Script, delete the Main Tag from that block's name, and use the "Refresh" command again. Then you can Start the Script without errors.
As for the Basic Components, if you add a new component, you have to reset the Mining with the Set. Otherwise the script might act unpredictably.
You can always use the Set;Number to align the Platform where you want it.
What Version are you using? If it's v3.66, then please tell me, because that would mean, that the fix isn't working in every case. A save file could be useful too in that case.
If it's the issue that I have fixed already, then you can solve it by using the Set again. If it doesn't works, then keep trying with the Set, until it does.
If you have an older version of the script, then reload it from the workshop to get the new version.
If you don't know how to do it, then send me some pictures about what you built. That could be useful too. :)
Also, using the "Set" multiple times have fixed your problem?
If not, then try to reload the script from the workshop, then try using the Set a couple of times again.
I'm gonna run some test with the script until then, to try to replicate your issue.
Also, just to make sure, are you configured anything inside the script?
Probably that mistake caused the issues for you. Sorry for that! :(
The new update with the fix is live!
Thanks for sharing your issue! I found out about the mistake because of that!
have done set mutliple times to see if that fixed the problem, have recopied the script from the workshop so i am running v3.661
What you could do to fix this tho, is that pause the script, then turn the Rotor manually to a position, that is between the min and the max limit. Something like 10° should be enough if you are using the default values.
Then use the Set.
It should fix it. If not, then something is really off the track there. xD
I have tested a lot, but couldn't managed to reproduce your issue. :(
The only thing that I could do for you is to check the world that you play in, but you have to send the save file to me then.
To do it, check this discussion below:

Also, the setup that you made is not like the one in the pictures tho.
In your setup, the Horizontal Piston will stuck on the conveyors, because the conveyor tubing at the top of the Mining Structure is 1 block shorter (it's just 9 blocks, instead of 10).
Also, you did not placed the Drills towards the center. It's possible to use them like how you did, but then the center would not be mined out, and the Vertical Pistons's gonna stuck on the ground.
I'm gonna upload a tutorial video in a couple of days to YouTube. You may wait until then to build a new platform to make sure that you did the setup right.
