Very annoyed and pissed off that you've changed this. I would rather have the strength! I had just put 15 points into that, and then today on a level up all of a sudden I dropped half my gear because I no longer had the strength required.
Really have been enjoying this mod, but now I don't want to play the damn game any more.
Various tests were done and apparently, there seems to be some sort of limit to how much stat points you can get at a certain level. So, Zyph decided to replace them with something that somehow gives the bonuses that the specific stat offers (e.g. -martial item requirements for Strength, +critical chance for Dexterity, +health for Vitality, etc.).
As much as Zyph doesn't want to do it, there's nothing he can do but to proceed with it as players are reporting crashes here and there and we apologize for whatever inconvenience it caused.
Now, what I can do is up the -item requirement I stuck in the skill to cover it, but it could get a bit crazy because as far as I know there is no way to target a specific stat. So, you would end up with -75 to item requirements, and that would be really broken.
I assure I fought this change tooth and nail for months, but in the end there was no other alternative that could be found to fix what came to be known as the "Stat Crash Bug."
However as I said, I will up the -item requirement I skill to compensate a bit more. I really am sorry guys, I did look for another way to fix this. :(
The GM has one Proc that gives an HP&Mana heal every 25 hits based on level, and a proc that decreases enemy armor every 20 hits (which takes less attcks with more investment.)
The Ronin's will be getting battle auras that share with the team, and procs that do cool stuff also.
As I said in the main thread, I am going to replace it with something that I feel is even cooler. That was the requirement for myself to be willing to make that change.
