[BUG] Gate Location and auto pilot or AI Pilot
Loving this mod. Awesome work and thank you!!!

Quick bug report. The larger gate size and the location of Theia make is so that AI pilots or autopilots simply go back and forth through the jump gate in Bright Promise over and over again if they are headed to Theia. I think there may be a few other locations in the Galaxy where this also happens because of the larger gate size, so I will let you know if I find more.

It shouldnt be the gate size, because the bounding box was increased as well.
The problem is that the gate is behind the exit of the gate and the AI path finding is not good.
I can try to move the sector gate to theia a bit.

Looks like my problem when using autopilot .
When going through a gate and the destination is behind the gate in the next sector ,
the autopilot will go back into the gate :(
Another problem is with the accelerators :x when going through , at the exit , the autopilot does a 360 before going to the destination ...

I have another "gate" problem. It occurs when the terran faction is building SR2 in my wharfs. I see they are finished, they are even firing at enemies while docked and their order is set to "launch" but they never leave the yard. They don´t try to move or anything it´s like they are stuck in there forever with the launch command and leaving area of attention doesn´t seem to fix this problem for me. Is the ship maybe a bit too big for the wharfs "exit gate" ? Anyone else having this problem or is it just me and karma?

how can i unbuild another factions ship docked inside my wharf? The problem is all my wharf slots are now occupied by terran ships until they get destroyed by ANT/ARG again and that can take some times, the SR2 isn´t that weak especially when parked close to another one

edit: This only happens when terrans building them at players wharf. Save and reload or restarting the game does not help at all. I have myself a working SR2 in flight built at TTT wharf and all..almost all.. is fine.. it has the same autopilot problem like shown in the video of =Easy= above but thats it :-p
The problem only occurs when terran faction is trying to undock but now it seems an ANT destroyer has mercy and is killing them from behind staying at range :) But it will happen again, it wasn´t the first time and not the first wharfs and won´t be the last so this is really gamebreaking for me as it hinders just everything thats going on.
My absolutely wild "guess" is that you have maybe some older files going with the mod that came out of 3.3 or somewhere. Maybe not changed in any way but not fitting the 4.0 dlc now somehow. As i said its only a wild guess but maybe something that can click into the right direction for finding a solution. Or just take the sr2 away from the terrans its not fitting anyway :-p

i tried that and what you suspected seems to be true they are still not moving, only standing there firing without any move order beeing executed. strange, i also don´t know if this only happens at players wharf or also at the terrans on moon, they don´t do me the favor of building one there at the moment :/ As i said i would really appreciate if the author could make the SR2 something optional / selectable / separate downloadable whatever for the terran faction.
edit: after some fiddling i come to the conclusion that there are three problems including the SR2.
- As the OP stated there is an autopilot bug
- Scripterror "waiting for drones" while not having any drones deployed or even having any in inventory.
- only maximum preset layout has an engine attached. every other vanilla or RoR ship has even in minimum setting an engine, weird thing is that the terran AI seems able to order such a thing even when a player could not.

Strange, if i choose minimum layout at TTC or Terran shipyard, the SR2 always get the engines. Did you buy the blueprint for the engine for your shipyard?


The gate issue is fixed in the next version, i moved the gate to theia and double checked that the autopilot is not moving back.

What do you mean with Scriptterror "waiting for drones" ?
This mod doesnt change anything drone related.

The SR2 will not be build by Terrans in the next version.

I supect it´s a scripterror because when i followed =EaSy=´s advice and unbuilt a fabrication bay so the SR2 could´ve moved freely i was able to see their command given by AI and that was "waiting for drones" and they had none in equipment and of course non deployed which brings me to the conclusion that even if they woul´ve had an engine they had stood there waiting for these not existing drones forever.

Just a question, can we have a option to disable the SR2 ? it's a nice looking ship but don't stick with the style of the game :(

SR2 will not be used of any faction but TTC in the next version.

I would assume the drone thingy comes because the buyer want some drones for his ship and your shipyard doesnt provide the drones, but this should be an issue of every ship which is buyed with drones.

AI is building other ships without any problems all the time. Maybe it´s something about the new production chain for terrans so they don´t know if they should take commonwealth or terran stuff for it, not sure, it only applies to the AI orders, if i order a ship for myself from that very same yard stuffed will all type of drones it gets build without compications and can undock without any problems. It´s only the terran AI that seems to have lost their drivers licence for them.
