OSR Faction only builds Equipment Docks
As the title says, not so much a bug, but I had the OSR faction turned up to the hardest/highest setting, including mk1+mk3 ships, and they got bottlenecked after taking over a few sectors (about 10-15 total). Getting reinforcements out was more and more difficult for them, assuming they don't spawn-in ships. Hard to tell since my Xenon were stopping them *(All-the VRO friendly Xenon-buff mods were installed so no surprise there)* Though they build EQ docks, it will be border-line impossible for the OSR Faction to take over more than FRF/Matrix+some TEL/PAR sectors before they have difficulties due to distance-travelled. Also leaves them vulnerable due to only having 2 SY, 1 Wharf. Should OSR Faction not build more Wharf/Shipyards as they conquer sectors further and further from their home?

Are you sure OSR does build equpment docks and not defence stations?
Last time i played, OSR conquered 10 sectors.
OSR uses the vanilla factionlogic scripts, so no 3rd shipyard would be build. But this shouldnt be a problem.
Do you have some other mods with stronger ships, so the OSR fleets would lose every fight?

I have some extra mods, but that is not the issue. Sector takeover slows down around 10 or so, due to prolonged travel time to get ships/fleets from point A to point B. No new Wharfs are built either. Only EQ Docks, Defense Stations, and standard Multi-Complexes. That part is fine, but consider that the further and further OSR spreads, the more land it has to cover. OSR does not use trading stations to move wares or act as a warehouse. Therefore, everything outside of 5 jumps from their home is only going in to EQ Docks and new stations. EQ Docks get full up on wares, and then bottleneck.

Solution would be to have OSR build more Shipyards/Wharfs in new regions like the other factions do, and to likewise give them a warehouse network (Trade stations). Even though they won't trade with others, it will help fill holes in their Shipyards and Wharfs. I was playing on the hardest OSR setting, and they were having trouble reaching beyond the region where Teladi, Zyarth, and Free Families meet. If no trade stations, then you could cheat wares in to their Shipyards/Wharfs, but I disagree with that approach personally. Still the one issue remains, as supply-lines are stretched out, killing OSR becomes easier over time (to an extent) - because response time is increased as sectors are taken. That is to say - travel time from ship being built and it getting to a destination that makes said ship useful to the faction (border defense and invasion logic)

This is not a normal vanilla behavoir.
Factions shouldnt build more shipyards, wharfs or docks.
Traveltime may be an issue, but OSR should got enough ships to patrol and defend border sectors.
Do you play with the mod "faction enhancer war module" ?
This one optimize the vanilla war factionlogic.
