Luckily, it can be fixed in normal by using the console and switching to the desired nation and setting the decision as "undesirable". However in Ironman, you have to conquer Beijing ASAP.

I Already fixed the decision and removed the power gains two days ago, didn't i?

I feel like there's still some large nations left over after doing the large nations snap, specifically Venice, Portugal, Sweden & Norway. I was wondering if you could add an option for a more extensive snap so that there still aren't too many too powerful nations like those ones. But they shouldn't be added to the big nations snap because they aren't that big.

yeah, i was considering venice, but it isn't THAT strong to be put together with france or the ottomans.

Denmark is weak, but they have their PU's.

Portugal, would let Iberia always empty, Sweden and Norway seem big and strong, but are just big landmasses of low development.

My dream-scenario for this mod is the Shattered Europe (every nation that can be released, will start released, including vassals and pu's), but ATM the mod just crashes on startup (by itself), and i don't like the idea of fixing his mod and getting the credit for it.

also, venice has some downsides in the mod.

no 1-province nations for it's trade league, and vassals may disappear (if they don't, they will be strong as well, but venice might get overpowered by them at some point).

Venice will be a power house, but that can be said for a lot of other nations, like Ashigaka, that isn't in the "big nations" list, because they fail at uniting japan, even having lots of vassals that can colonize.

but we need to remember: a casual player can overpower venice playing a any OPM quickly if there is land to colonize, just go over the colonist limit and pay that bonus price, it's worth it.

I did one AQ > RUM run, and it was soo easy, literally just colonize.

i might buff AI someday, but idk.

would it be possible to leave the original trade good in the provinces of snapped countries?

i think it is, but i don't know how.

i mean, i can do it, but it has to be manually for every province, so, it would mess up the map mods, and idk how to do the whole world automatically.

I've noticed that when selecting normal mode, the same nations seem to always get snapped (Aragon, France, Ottomans, Poland, Hungary, Teutons, Norway, and Sweden off the top of my head). While this could be a remarkable coincidence on my end, I feel there should be more randomization for what nations get snapped.

what do you mean by "more randomization", it's already Completely random. it's not like i made a list of nations and put an "chance of being snapped" in each one of them.

the mod just gives a surviving to a random country, then gives the snapping country to another completely random country, until every country gains a colonist or is snapped.

How about an option to configure what survivors get for colonist bonuses, rather than just a solid 1 and +50, maybe higher and lower options?

Just use the mod with one of the shattered universalis versions. that's the first thing that came to mind when i created it, but the working version at the time wasnt compatible with any mods.
