steam won't allow me to save if there's any non-steam link in it.

The launcher says that some of the mod files are installed incorrectly. I subscribed through the workshop, and whenever I test it out the event fails to fire. Any ideas what's going wrong?

Once more the Workshop isn't working well, and mods are not downloaded, or the .Descriptor isn't placed in the right place.
