What other animals deserve a happy ending?
It was our original intention to provide happy endings for a number of other animals in the game, such as the bear cub in Fort Joy and the skeleton cat on the Lady Vengeance. These are still on our list, but what other animal stories do you think deserve a happy ending?

skeleton cat in the demon girl's chamber?
+1 for @DeeVeeTree 's suggestion

In Act 2, you could look at the chickens that 1) turn into a phoenix egg and 2) are murdered by Little Peep. I know for the former it appears in some endings, but that's kind of lame. There are also the Act 2 witch's familiars in and around her cabin.

There's the Magister dog in Act 1 near the island where Windego is that lost their master and is just mourning forever.
Not sure if this ever gets resolved in the canon story line but the Fire slugs and Burning pigs are just poor souls who got cursed by a tyrant and deserves a happy ending

You can help the second group in the unmodded game, it's a regular side quest (at least you can extinguish the fire and restore one of them to human form). As for the first, you can sort of do something for them, but you can't remove the curse.

That's definitely a loose end worth looking into. They slightly changed that story with the DE, but the cat still gets left behind when you teleport the girl out. Thanks for the suggestion!

The bearcub who loses it's mother in the swamps near Fort Joy.

The second set you can help.

Just cast Bless on them and they stop burning

OK sooooo I Do Not Know How To Set Spoilers So ignore Me Please and stop reading after the REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
ok sorry for memeing it was the only way. alright so my idea is this for a good ending for the chickens simple include an optional stage of blessing the egg when you find it. so that when it is returned to it's mother it will hatch as a "blessed" chicken and it's mother sends you to bring it to it's father the magic rooster to train it in the art of idk magic roostering?

@Dis_conected We'll definitely have to look into "the art of magic roostering" :-D

I see, thanks
There's a source hound ghost in Arx that doesn't understand it's dead. Unlike many ghosts, it can't be helped into the Hall of Echoes.
In act 2, if you go to the graveyard and kill Ryker, the salamander, the dog and cat upstairs, Birdie as a pet for characters,
