Make your mod more difficult and more sophisticated
I like so much this mod because it is a perfect addition to the survival aspect of dayz. My intention is that the mod should become more sophisticated for the following reason:

at time it is enough for all deseases (exempt salmonella) to take only 1 single drug: tetracyclin. And in a very short time he/she will be healed.
Therfore the players take at first - no matter what disease it is - a tetracyclin and all is nearly perfect.

I suggest to make the mod more difficult and sophisticated:

1. Each desease should need a dedicated mix of treatment to cure the desease.
2. If infected the rest level should be significantly affected.
3. The cure should take noticeabel rest time.

Here my examples/suggestions meating these parameters:

Cholera: rest level max. 20,
medication: charcoal + tetraycyclin
treatment: rest for 5 minutes to reach rest level 50; duration of illness as actual.
Only the medication mix + rest heals within the set time. If 1 drug is missing, the
healing lasts the double time and rest of 10 minutes is needed.

Salmonella: rest level max. 30
medication: charcoal + tetracyclin + saline bag injection.
treatment: rest for 5 minutes to reach rest level 50; duration of illness as actual.
Only the medication mix + rest heals within the actual set time. If 1 drug is
missing, the healing lasts the double time and rest of 10 minutes is needed., if 2
drugs (including the saline bag injection) are missing no healing is possible.

Wound infection: rest level max. 40
medication: antipyretic painkillers + tetracyclin
treatment: no rest is needed, duration of illness as actual.
Only the medication mix heals within the actual set time. If 1 drug is
missing, the healing lasts the double time.

Influenca: rest level max. 30
medication: antiypyretic painkillers + codein + tetracyclin + saline bag injection.
treatment: rest for 5 minutes to reach level 50; duration and development of illness
as actual.
Only the medication mix heals within the actual set time. If 1 drug is
missing, the healing lasts the 1,5x time, if 2 drugs are missing the healing lasts
the double time, if 3 drugs are missing no healing is possible.


I hope i could give you some thoughts impulses. Please consider i am not a software engineer but a very experienced game player.

no, sorry, i am not a software engineer but a experienced game player. I hope that the modder can do it. I heard the code of dayz sa seems not to be changed easily like the code of f.a. arma 2.
