and covering great distances in a short amount of time.
The ingame possibilities of movement are limited right now.
This feature should allow people to cover greater distances in shorter amount of time,
as well as allowing the builder to fly in order to proceed on his endeavour.
After placing the part, the player interacts with their [USE] key on the part.
This interaction with the part allows the player to fly freely in the world.
By interacting with the part again or on destruction of it, the fly mode will be disabled.
There are two different speeds. A normal flying speed for precise movement and a travel speed,
to cover greater distances in shorter time. The travel speed is used by pressing and holding the [SPRINT] key.
This tool should be compatible with the gravitation changer tool.
Have you tried the part which looks like the ingame toilet paper roll? Search ingame for "World Cleaner". I know that's not the best model, but I'll update some models in the future :)
Also check the mod description. There's a list of the currently implemented parts.
For usage information, look up the ingame description of the according part.
By interacting with the world cleaner, a prompt will appear, providing the option to either delete all bodies (static and lose ones) or only the lose bodies.
The according set of objects is removed from the world, by clicking any of the provided options.
I am not Eng, sorry
These would be nice features for a separate mod, but are out of scope for this mod. I'm adding these to the list for future projects.
Explain your idea a bit further. What exactly do you mean by the configuration? Is it the colour some blocks have, the connections, the orientation or all of these together?
pd: nice name too
I already have some idea about a scripted part, that allows you to specify what parts will take what colour, without the need to paint them all one by one, but letting the scripted part do that for you. So, maybe I'll add some aspect of your idea to that part.
Anyway I have to think of a good way to somehow copy the values and apply them to other parts with ease. I'll post back if I find a good way to do so and whether I'm going to implement this feature. Stay tuned :)
Still waiting for the game developers to add some useful stuff to the Lua API 😅
