Megastructure
Satellite Habitat Complex: Requires you to designate one fully built habitat (size 6) as the target. You can then build this megastructure around any other planet/star in the system and when completed it will add +6 districts to your targetted habitat and will give access to any special districts or buildings based on the planet it was built around. It will not give you any bonuses or modifiers for that world though. It also adds +5% crime and +5 amenities use to the target hab, representing effects of the distributed nature of the habitat.

Other
  • 2 levels of "add district" decisions acquired from the starbase techs and master builders as you make more efficient use of your habitat (each adds +2).
  • Decisions that let you turn off the extra districts if you need more UI room
  • Habitats adapt to changes in habitable world
  • Refund on habitat alloy upkeep for size 3 and 4 habitats.
  • Set of edicts let you build habitats at any size between 3 and 6 and with one or both levels of extra districts at starting, to save on your micromanagement.
  • Events and unique building for colonising your homeworld
  • Habitability species trait that gives bonuses on habitats and penalties on natural planets. Different flavours of penalty.

So wait that's nice that you can get bonus's to those resources but the question is can you still build the different districts for a planet being over a certain resource like being able to build energy districts if it's over a energy tile?

Yes, all the vanilla resource -> district availability works

Sorry, can you clarify how the Master Builder ascension perk works in relation to my habitats, as there's no tooltip mention on the perk itself. It will add a further +2 districts?

MB does not do anything to habitats and hasn't for a while (since habitats became a tech, the MB effect was folded into voidborn, and has now been replaced with +2 buildings)

It does enable a decision on the orbital city that adds +2 districts

What if you make your habitat over 1 of a tri sol system then add the satellite so all 3 suns are under its districts, do you receive a bonus for having all 3 suns?
Draconas  [developer] 24 Aug, 2020 @ 12:19pm
You will receive the bonus from the one that has a habitat, satellite complexes do not grant bonuses, so you will just get additional districts.
Is there any habitat other than the starting one that has a combination of the Planetary Scavenger, Nature Preserve, and Solar Panel districts?
Draconas  [developer] 4 Apr, 2021 @ 12:58pm
No. Nature preserve are unique to the orbital city.
You can in theory get planetary scavenger, farming and solar panels if you get a system that has a tomb/relic world and a habitable world and use satilite hab complexes.
