Sensory Overload
Building Temperature Sensor.
Does this have to be placed DIRECTLY over the building or will it simply detect the first building below it? Got some tight quarters where I can't place it directly above and was wondering if it would work if I placed it over the tile the building was under.

or if it is rotated does it detect the building at the "original" bottom of the sensor? That would be doable for my situation as well.

edit: Ok realised after I posted this (like immediately after) I could just build them to test it d'uhhhhh.

For anyone else looking for the info it detects whatever building is at the default bottom of the sensor so rotating it works great.

Damn, now I need to report a bug. The building temp sensor does not toggle if the temp is no longer above/below the desired temp. It will only change the signal if you manually toggle it again.

Or possibly it's reading the correct building for the display but actually working off the building directly below it. It's possible only the temp displayed is reading the right building on rotation but actually not working off that temp?

ok further testing, can't get it to toggle no matter its orientation.

Looks like this sensor just doesn't work at the moment

Yeah, the mod author knows the building temp sensor doesn't work. I came to report the same thing. Hopefully it gets fixed soon (cause we all know overheating sucks!) As for where to put it, I put it a few tiles away and it still worked. Well... it detected the temperature, it just didn't toggle.
