Report a translation problem
I have made a large number of corrections the last day, so here are improved translation files: https://pastebin.com/j49edrpy
https://pastebin.com/n6t6Yaph
thanks a lot, i will update it
Additionally, most specialist jobs have added this section:
This gives slaves priority on these jobs, so that citizens will focus on other jobs the slaves can't do (like ruler jobs).
Well, in the previous version I relied on machine-translation to help. The computer translated names based on what it sounded like, and not it's actual English translation. For example, in the buildings file:
Avril university town -> Aurora Academy
(The computer replaced Avrora for Avril, instead of the English version of the name, Aurora)
Building Elfin Dormitory -> Fairy Dormitory
(elfin is an archaic term rarely used anymore, elven or fairy is more easily understood)
Bercyrian stone Furniture Factory ->Betharian Furniture Factory
(Betharian is the original term in game, Bercyrian is simply the nearest-sounding term in Chinese)
Booty store manager -> Pantsu Store Manager
(The store does not sell buttocks, so isn't really a correct name).
People's Scientist -> Social Scientist
(People's is a suffix mainly associated with ownership by communist states. "Humanities" or "Social" are more correct terms for scientists that study human behavior.)
I think there were some other similar fixes in other files as well.
Let me know if you need someone to proof-read and confirm the grammar is correct, I am a native Englsih speaker.
Thanks for your great work! but I think we are fine on the translation progress, and it clearly doesn't make any senses for you to proofread and check all the grammar for this enormous large localisation, you can help us to check after we have done the work and release the fully translated English files.
