Planetary Invasions - Defending
I don't know who thought it was an amazing idea to decide to give a defending planet a lackluster amount of *three* regiments with the invaders being given an infinite supply of reinforcements, but it makes defending planets absolutely useless and a waste of time and credits.

The economical impacts just for doing so bankrupts you faster than a mynock devouring wires. What's the point? You're not going to stop the never-ending swarm of long range vehicles or artillery, or worst yet a spam of unstoppable air units.

This is terribly unbalanced, counting on top of that the invaders being given INFINITE bombing runs and INFINITE orbital bombardments - what's the point? You get squat, not even a shield map-wide shield array, except for a tiny part of the map it's built around.

Who designed this? Who thought this insanity was a good idea at the same time let this through? Please get rid of it, it's more trouble than it's worth and there's absolutely no ability for the defenders to rally enough forces stave off any invasion, let alone a skirmish.

Honestly, I agree. Just started playing recently and I realized this. Decided not to build any defensive ground forces anywhere and just have a couple stacks for ground invasions/attacks. Anywhere I want/need to defend, I have a fleet there. Seems like if your space fleet is defeated, you're gonna lose the planet unless you can get another fleet there before they send a ground invasion.
