Performance issues
Every time I try to play this mod my frames go to from the 100s all the way to 1 fps, I've done every solution that I could think of and I don't know what to do anymore. This happens with other mods as well. I have a Geforce 2070 with a I7 with 16 gb of ram. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to make this game run better.

Perhaps you need some better hardware? I'm not sure but it performs much better here since I changed my pc.

I don't think It can be because of my hardware I can other games really well one of them being Red dead redemption 2 with most of the graphics set on ultra with 40-70 frames.

Running new games well has nothing to do with EAW performance given they use more cores and all of your GPU power while EAW is largely limited by it's 30 logical frames of computing and single core processing.

That said you shouldnt go down to 1fps that's a full freeze at that point. You should at the lowest be in the 10s during the most extreme situations outside of the game crashing or the GC map when the AI is erroring to the point it freezes every other second.

I cant really tell you anything to help or any possible causes given there's no info here.

Apologies for not giving enough info, the only place I get those frame drops is the gc map. What information do you need to help me out?

Yeah same, in the gc map, my game will stutter fairly frequently. However in battle, I have no issue at all. In the past, it has run just fine, so I'm unsure as to what the reasoning is as i haven't changed any settings.

I've changed everything I could and the only thing that works is going into settings and slowing down the game speed but that just makes the game unbearable

EaW unironically runs better on older machines. My PC was built way back in 2017 and runs practically any mods without issue other than the typical freeze/crash or save file corruption that everyone encounters. The game wasn't built with multi-core processing in mind (as practically all games at the time didn't either). Games didn't fully utilize multi-core processing until a few years after FoC came out when Crysis dropped. The only way to change this would be to completely rebuild the games engine which modders can't really do.

I have tried lowering the core use by doing the instructions but that has 0 effect.
