what does the machine do,
under the drivers seat/cabin?
or does it require Counter Strike: Source?

The "machine" only works properly if you play the TTT gamemode. It is the Traitor Tester (but the door entity is named so you could get creative with commands in Sandbox). :lunar2019piginablanket:

You can pick up the car battery with your magneto stick (TTT) or physics gun (sandbox)

Please read the map description for further information:
"➪ If you noclip under the train you need "god" enabled (to enable "godmode" you need sv_cheats set to 1) or else you will die"

What is the name of the country-esque music on one of the radios? I have been trying to figure this out for a while now. the radio is located in a restaraunt on the train.

I think it is a sound stored in the game files.
The name is:
ambient/music/country_rock_am_radio_loop.wav

Might be possible that it is either from Garry's Mod (which has a lot of different sounds from different games) or CS:S :csgocross:
