Also remember that wrong mod order can cause many errors. Having your modlist ordered correctly using the RW troubleshooter guide (https://rwom.fandom.com/wiki/Mod_Order_Guide) or maybe rimpy autosort will solve many issues.

Not 100% sure this is a bug, but my Gerzee colonist will not feed himself properly. He will eat grass, but only eats a single patch (not filling the bar and leaving him with a hunger debuff).

I've tried playing with food restrictions and with a test colony in debug mode, but I can't change this behavior.

There's a bit of a limitation to how much of the code I can change. In the end, though, I also meant it to be much more of a snacking-on-the-go feature than spending the whole day out in the fields grazing on free food.

But funnily enough, I've been meaning to change the hunger debuffs to fit this eating style, and then lost internet for a week.

Its fixed now. Gerzee will only get a negative debuff when completely empty on food... meaning they can happily go snacking between jobs on a patch of grass here or there, hovering at a low food level but never getting upset over it. Makes sense for the lore anyways, since they're naturally just eating on the go.

That's awesome, and it does fix the problem I mentioned. I hate to keep complaining, but it's only because I really like this mod; I can't get a Gerzee to eat anything besides grass except by micro-managing it (selecting one and using the context menu on existing raw veg).

This is a big problem when it is too cold for grass, and also for feeding incapacitated gerzee. If I try to prioritize feeding an incapacitated gerzee, it claims there is no food available even with raw vegetable and haygrass in accessible storage.

To make this personal, my poor gerzee colonist took an arrow to the brain and is slightly special needs now (5/15 Brain scar) and I'm not sure I can feed him.

Don't worry, I'm not seeing your comments as "complaining" or anything. I'm always happy to fix an issue!

I'll check in on this when I get back to my computer. You're experiencing this issue without having any other mods loaded (aside from the required ones to play Gerzee), right?

After some testing both with and without mods it seems like the issue is no longer occurring. Thank you for fixing it via long range magic and/or psychic powers.

While using fluffy's mod manager. It states that story framework should be loaded after the Gerzee race for some reason, just a heads up.

Hello brightsideguy I hope you are having a great day, I am here because when I opened the mod section in game where all mods are listed on and you can deactivate them, activate them etc. the gerzee mod still appears as only 1.0 compatible, I tried to unsubscribe and then subscribe again to see if it changed but it is still the same.

is this an issue on my end?
or did you made a mistake when updating the steam mod or something?

No worries. Have you gone down further on the list and checked if there's a second Gerzee Race entry?

Actually, I just did a minor update to switch the order it'll show up. Now, the first entry of the two "Gerzee Race" items will be 1.1

But if not, just keep scrolling down until you see the other one that's marked as 1.1

Hello brightsideguy I hope you are having a great day and as always I am thankful for the support you give this awesome mods

I am here to report a bug and a possible bug but could be intended but I am not sure so will mention it regardless

-Trader caravans always appear as ¨. from the free gerzee¨ without mentioning what they are, while this is a harmless bug is still one that is worth mentioning and another part about this is that the caravans only come with one gerzee and a lot of pack animals but I imagine that´s intended behaivor

from running tests on dev mode it seems this is always the case even by deactivating all other mods

quite not sure about this one
-the free gerzee and the gerzee wrathful don´t have a leader which makes them imposible to contact trough a comms console to request a caravan or for other stuff from mods that is togged by the comms console but that´s another story, this could be intended behaivor because they are supposed scattered tribes of gerzee that freed themselves from slavery and wouldn´t have a leader at all but that makes them immposible to contact because ¨the leader is not available¨. this

Sorry for not reporting this bugs earlier since I should had done before since I play all my games with the gerzee but my past run that lasted a long while had the free gerzee as hostile so i didn´t realise because I couldn´t get caravans or needed to contact them

Hello @brightsideguy, I notice some issues when trying this mod in my fairly large mod pack. In trying to narrow down the issues I completely cleared my rimworld install as best i could (locallow files and all) and enabled only harmony, humanoids alien and races, this race mod and hugslib. I get errors when starting a new colony, the log file is linked at the end of this post. I think something is happening with the body type of the gerzee causing them to be invisible when being created. I hope I was able to describe this well enough.
