Is it works with klickmala race and others?

I`m not pro at this mod and don`t know how it is works, but my klickmala didn`t get any mutations from the mutanite meteor, but the human had 3 mutations just for one second. It`s only don`t works with klickmala, or with all the alien races?

Most Races probably wont, I know Avali doesn't. I think it's mostly based on how close to human/how much base code the race uses.
