do you think you could articulate Texas Truckin to fit into a toolbox?
Or otherwise some other mini ridealong that assembles from a toolbox.
I'm currently trying to contort the TF2 model to do that for a scene but my modelling knowledge is bare bones.
I've already jury rigged a toolbox I just put wheels on and a steering wheel for now.
It will do for my scene at least, but I'd love for it to be more mechanical.
Funny you say that I have been for a year or so working on a car model as if engineer fully customises it in his style. Even got plans for level 1, level 2 and 3 models. Keeping my motivation up has been very challenging but I won't abandon the project. Heck the car model corresponds with the tool box idea I mentioned in my last comment.
Well I'm getting on with it as of this moment while I have some motivation to get on. Just letting you know that I'm adding stuff to it to help make some of it make better sense such as giving the wheels some space to rotate and some bars for the engineer to rest his feet on.
Just updating you that I've finished putting the model together, textured it, gave it a skeleton. I'm currently in the process of typing the codes to compile it to SFM. After that all I'll need to do is do a bunch of texture coding, test the out come in SFM making any tweaks along the way, once I'm happy with it I'll just need to make the display pics and hopefully the model should be on the workshop by today or tomorrow.
Would you be okay if I were to credit you for the idea including a link to your poster pic?
