Update 4 for 2.8 (Polishing, Minor Overhauls, and Back to Roots)
-- EM PR-2.3.0 --

TEH BAD (AKA HOW 2 REMOVE CRAPPY EM GIMMICKS)
- Removed Roads, Atlantean Fire, Scout Boats, Siege Drill, Reinforcements, Improved Living Conditions and Wyat/Ta Ceti.
- Silk Roads now exclusive to the Chinese.
- Atlanteans no longer get the Assassain's Guild tech.
- Removed my Player Colour mod, now you can freely decide if you want those, wanna stick with the classic AoM colours, or wanna use some other ones.
- Removed a bunch of useless unused technologies.
- Norse no longer get Sappers (tech and sapper units) anymore. Reason: Harjars, Arson, and Pillage. son!
-- This also means Norse Siege Camps are now available in the heroic age instead of the classical age now.
- Greeks now use their original (aka release) building textures by default, the alpha textures will be usable through an 'official' sub-mod.
- All Greek Heroes are now back where they belong.

ADDITIONS
- Added new relics:
-- Tyrfing Blade: All Heroes have more attack.
-- Mead of The Goat, Heidrun: Herdables are gathered from, faster.
-- Verdandi's Vase of Being: All Heroes have more hitpoints.
-- Sword of Lu Dongbin: Melee Heroes deal more bonus damage vs Myth Units.
-- Axe of Pangu: Axe Infantry are stronger.
-- Mirror of Ying-Yang: Archers move faster.
-- Five Coloured Brush: Units Build Faster.
-- Bottle of Purity: Villagers train faster.
-- Jormungandr Egg: Myth unit's special attacks deal more damage.
-- Fenrir's Tooth: Melee myth units deal more damage.
- Added Fishing Settlements technology, this Mythic Age tech provides Docks with an added +2 population increase, unfortunately Docks now have a build limit of 10 to prevent spamming.
- Readded Yoke Saddles technology, same as the old days, just that the cheaper wood cost & faster speeds are less overpowered, and the price is more balanced (still a musthave for Chariot use)
- Added "Law Technologies" line, these are a new set of TC technologies that requires Writing to be researched before hand, these provide additional population counts +25 (regardless of Houses or Town Centers)
-- The Law technologies are only available for the Greeks, Egyptians, Norse (first law technology; to incentivise pop-based combat pushes), and Chinese. Atlanteans don't get these technologies to make them weaker in the late game.
- EM's main menu now variates between various attract mode scenarios like in Vanilla AoM.
- Snowstorm is thrown the hell out, instead Frigg gets Avalanche (basically Avalanche from CannibalH's Age of Minor gods, peep it out)
- Chinese get some new units and get an ounce more polish.

DATA/MAIN/BALANCE
- Updated for the 2.8 Patch.
- Weaving now only affects armour, attack and health, writing now only affects train time (slightly), LOS, and attack.
- Courtyards and Urban Planning now located in the Library/Tingholl.
-- Courtyards now only supply +2 population (upto +20) and Urban Planning only +3 (upto +30) this is to make increased pop less OP, and incentivise more pushes to gain population.
-- Urban Planning is now available to the Egyptians, and no longer available to Chinese, to make Nu Wa less irrelevant.
- Fensalir now only increases house build limit by 2, which is a potential for 144 total pop with Courtyards, a decent boost, but weak compared to Greek/Atlanteans/Egyptian (and better than Chinese)
-- This helps to keep the Norse focused on aggressive territory pushes.
- Atlanteans no longer have access to Treason.
- Alchemy no longer boosts Archer damage, unit enabling has been re-relegated to normal enabling conditions (by age) and has been sent to the Mythic Age.
- Apart from Meadhalls (slight repurpose) all alcohol-technologies have been removed.
- Cofferdam/Dry Dock are now cheaper.
- Muster/Levy/Conscript line now divided based on unit-category for the Egyptians.
- Merged Foundations with Construction Cranes/Pulley.
- Sentries and City Defenders renamed to Tower Guards and Tower Marksmen respectively.
-- Only the Norse and Chinese get Tower Marksmen to compensate for their bad towers.
- Fortress-type buildings now back at the Heroic Age.
-- Rebalanced all fortresses, they are now weaker, making Ashlar Polygonal Masonry a more important technology. Also makes it less ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ when dealing with, but they still spit out (weaker) arrows like before.
-- Chinese Forts are now as weak as Hill Forts, but deal as much damage as Migdols.
-- Atlantean Palaces now deal the same damage as Greek Forts, and have more health, making them a general improvement over Greek Forts.
- Walls can now research their upgrades again.
- Baskets no longer costs gold, Terracotta Pottery now costs 75w, 50g.
- Charon can now train Wraiths as intended, and now has the ability to insta-kill most non-titan myth units as his special ability .
- Nerfed the Sarrisophoroi (or whatever their name is) they move slower, take longer to train, no longer have a bonus vs archers, deal less damage (6 hack instead of 8 pierce) and have less pierce armour.
- Nerfed the Town Defense units to be less ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ (especially when abused by the AI) by making them cost 2 population.
-- Scythian Toxotes have been the hardest hit, mostly because of human error, they are no longer classified as archers, now cost 90 gold (only) and now correctly take up population space. They now however have sounds.
- Egyptian Axe Cavalry got a little buff, they now deal x4 bonus damage vs infantry than x3, cost -5 less gold, and train two seconds faster, making them less ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
- Every minor god gets their free myth unit back, expanded this to include Sobek, and Frigg.
- Greek Barracks units now have their costs rebalanced into accorance with eachother, hopefully making them all more useful.
- Norse no longer get Ashlar Polygonal Masonry...sorry bout that. However Frigg's Ring Fort has been made more relevant because of this!
- Egyptians no longer have access to the Unified Muster-Levy-Conscript technologies, but building-based, these are more expensive (when all researched) than the unified technologies (as expected) but they do "enforce" you to pick a specific "playstyle"
- You can no longer select or attack (inadvertently) flying nature units, this is mostly done as a QoL fix, also because it was kinda pointless to be able to attack/select them.
-- Spiders can't be selected anymore either.
- Bondi should now function as units only good against cavalry now, and are cheaper to make them more useful.
- Highwaymen has now been merged by default into the Egyptian, Greek, and Chinese Scout cavalry.
-- Rebalanced Scout Cavalry, Nordic Cavalry are just a general trash/cav scout, whilst Egyptian, Greek and Chinese scouts are good vs economic units.
-- Atlantean Scout Cavalry (Decurions) no longer have their anti-infantry bonus, and are now basically stronger Nordic Scouts that cost gold instead of Wood like Greek Cav. This means that Atlanteans no longer have trash cavalry anymore.
-- Kataskopos (Scout) is now Hippikataskopos.
- Tweaked Argonauts, they have less attack (-2) have less pierce armour, no longer have a bonus vs cavalry, but have more hack armour.
- Chinese Slave = Servant, Greek Slave = Dolous, Norse Slave = Thrall, Egyptian Spy = Assassain, Norse Spy = Njosna, Greek Spy = Katascopos.
- Marksmanship has been tweaked, providing +1 pierce attack instead of +2.
- Lead Bullets is no-longer researched at the Armory, but at the Archery Range.
- Ulfheoinn have been renamed to Oximathr, and are no longer affected by Call of Valhalla or Mithrill Breastplate.
- Alfar now cheaper. No longer affected by Arrows of the Alfar, but are affected by Bow of Artemis now.
- Monobeles now have a larger bonus vs Ships (x4)
- Oxybeles now have a bonus vs Ships (x3) but have their Anti-Unit bonus decreased to x1.2, they should be utilized more against Infantry now.
- Nu Wa's Market is now enabled in the Archaic Age, but no longer gets earlier age Caravans. Because of this an Archaic Chinese Market has been made.
- Classical Age Shrine techs no longer cost favor.
- Population Limits have been doubled (600) unfortunately players are unlikely to reach past 300 (unless they build all tents, houses, research all pop-addition techs, have the Ra relic, play as Isis, play on a large map)
- All Archery Ranges, Academy's, Siege Workshops, and Stables have unique names and sounds again like in the good old days.
- Sobek no longer gets Apeps, he's still a strong god though. But sadly Apeps have to go back to being a scenario editor only unit ;(
- Herbal Lore now costs 500f, 500g and takes 60 seconds to research. It now also requires Surgery in order to be researched now too.
- Somehow Thor's AI works again, no idea why.
- Norse and Egyptian human soldiers now correctly have upgrade names.
- Renamed Bracers to Recurve Bows (with a new icon to boot)
- Removed various negative effects from shared technologies.

ART/SOUND
- Added sounds for the Leidang. Leidang now have custom textures (rather than using ones from ind10s' norse tex pack)
- Added a bunch of missing icons for various supremacy units + buildings.
- Expanded (lol) Expanded Mod's ambient sounds, and fixed them up for the new 2.8 patch.
-- Made it so that certain terrain sets (based on units not terrain) now have "unique sounds" so deserts will sound like deserts, snowy lands sound like snowy lands, etc
- Cabbage Farms no longer use the same irrigation + plowed fields upgrade visuals as their 3d counterparts, instead using modified textures.
- Oak Trees now use their original textures, and Snowy Oaks now have new textures in accordance to this. The old textures may still be used via the Plants Mod.

-- Redesigned Fruit Trees to be a lot less atrocious.

- Greeks now have a a new set of unique and exclusive Academy (not Barracks!) models
- All vanilla units (except Atlanteans) now follow the Copper/Leather - Bronze - Iron, upgrade tier rather than the weird Bronze - Silver - Gold ES decided on for the retail product.

- Naval Shipyard creation/select sound is now quieter.
- Norse Mythic Archery now has the correct "Mythic Horns/knobs/whatever those damn things are lol"
- Mythic Greek Libraries now have a unique model compared to their Heroic Age version.
- Gold Mines no longer have the Dwarven Mine sparkle effect.
- Swapped the Egyptians Government Centers (Scen Edit building) and Library models around, this'll make the Egyptian Libraries actually look like Libraries.
- Farms/Flax Fields no longer leave behind corpses, turns out there was also an issue with this where they'd just die instantly, so whatever.
- Made the Eggy Archery Ranges less barren by throwing in some entrance spears, and some tarps.
- Updated Charioteria models to look more pretty and have unique banner spears for each age.
- Norse and Egyptian base game units updated to reflect the "bronze - silver - gold" to "copper - bronze - iron" aesthetic.
-- Atlanteans base units and Chinese (as a whole) won't get this aesthetic reflection (the former so they can be differentiated from non-heroable units, and the latter for fancy aesthetic reasons)
- The weird corn/sunflower farms now use the farm plants from the alpha (ES apparently reused them for AoE3 at one point, for Tobaccy plants lol)
- Sheep have quieter ambient sounds.
