- since the han dynasty was the first to study the stars perhaps something thats like a primitive observatory, that matches the chinese theme. edit, they had a primitive seismoscope
- since the silk road was established during the han dynasty, perhaps an upgrade that allows 5% of resources you spend to go to allies or vice versa, ect.
- add a tech called imperial examination where villagers cost more and take more time to train but are better at everything.
i have more ideas for a lot more on general tech improvements
- add a bard to represent the literature movement during the han dynasty (it can be a strictly support unit, one that boosts certain stats of nearby units)
- they developed a very long sword, so somesort of heavy infantry that has farther range, and is good against weak infantry
- they also invented a military 'kite' with the purpose of communication and scare tactics. (you could make it attack) http://hwarfare.weebly.com/inventionsweapons.html
This is just stuff true to the actual times, the mythology is a whole other frontier, though its confucianism so it would probably conflict with the current chinese idk.
