-- Pythagoras' Teachings: Now affects Secrets of the Titans.
-- Tower of Sestus: Towers gain +4 range and +6 LOS.
-- Gaia's Book of Knowledge: Technologies cost 30% less favor.
-- Buhen Flagstone: Now also decreases Wall Upgrades cost by 25%.
-- Lost Dialogues of Plato: Now correctly reduces Tingholl technology costs.
-- Aelous' Bag of Winds: Speed increase reduced to 10%.
-- Added Udjat Eye: Increase the pop expansion of houses/manors slightly.
- Increased Tribute Penalty to 30% to counteract potential slinging cheese.
-- Ambassadors now reduces tribute to 10%. Now costs 150f, 100g, but now available in the Classical Age.
-- Readded Fealty (Mythic Age, 300f, 200g, requires Ambassadors) which reduces tribute to 0%. Not available to the Atlanteans.
-- Deductions: It's hell of a lot easier to get a good economy going on in EM with the 4th line of gather techs, defensive buffs, etc - so this is a necessary compromise.
- Apothecaries now available to the Greeks. Reduced regeneration rate to .85.
- Added Caravan Guards for 300w, 150f; Mythic Age for Chinese, Egyptians and Greeks. Trade Caravans gain more hitpoints and armor. Requires Apothocaries.
- Town Watch now costs 75w. City Patrol now costs 150w. Both can now be researched at the Library/Tingholl.
- Updated Academy third stage construction model.
- New Projectile art for the Katoballista and Stone Thrower (halfway between Slinger shot and petrobolos shot)
- Docks can no longer attack nearby units by default.
-- Added Coastal Fortifications (200w, 125g, Heroic Age); which upgrades Docks to Harbours and allow them to attack enemy targets provided they have been garrisoned.
-- Fishing Settlements now require Coastal Fortifications to be researched beforehand.
-- Docks are now 100% accurate, only fire 1 arrow, have a x2 bonus vs ships and are affected by Heated Shot, Crenellations and Hornbow Line.
- Made Fortresses less obnoxious to fight by default; reduced their arrow counts back to 3 from 5.
-- Arrowslits now costs 200f, 300w, but now provides Towers with +1 arrow and Fortresses with +2 Arrows.
- Crenellations now available in the Classical Age again.
- Readded "Divine Law" now provides 50 population and all units train 10% faster, costs 2000 gold, requires Secrets of the Titans.
- Wonders now correctly provide 50 population.
- Secrets of the Titans reduced costs and research time reduced to vanilla values.
- Boreal no longer spawns Herds of Deer/Elk, now has two additional groups of berries however.
- Mercenaries: Powerful, high gold cost, high population units trainable from the Heroic Age based around already present human unit archetypes. Choice of three different units (of a total of 30 unique mercs) between 25 lists throughout random maps.
-- Added Taverns to the Egyptians, Greeks, Norse and Atlanteans as the Mercenary training buildings.
-- The actual mercenaries added, and where they are available is left to players to figure out themselves. The mercenaries exist to help fill in holes with culture unit comps or focuses (i.e train tanky infantry to absorb damage for Norse)
-- Readded Spies (Areani for Atlanteans) which now also do bonus damage vs mercenaries.
--- Spies can now go into stealth; where they are slower, and cannot attack but are invisible to enemies.
--- Spies and Areani now have a charged ranged attack that deals 50 flat pierce damage vs the units they counter.
--- Added Assassains (150f, 250w, Mythic) which increases Spy/Areani attack, speed, range, and LOS.
- Renamed Mercenaries (technology) to Nepotism.
- Added Fisheries. Available to all civs from Classical. Can be built on water. Acts as a dropsite for fishing ships.
-- Transport Ships can now trade again. Task them on Fisheries to trade.
-- Transport Ships now affected by Artisanship for increased gold gain.
- Pirate Ships now have lower hack armor, increased pierce armor and increased bonus vs archer ships.
- Ages on the top panel now denote their number (i.e II. Classical Age)
- The first sequence (Greek) of Fall of the Trident has been updated.
-- EM Buildings have been added throughout (for player and AI) Support for Mercenaries. Some terrain tweaks, so on and so forth.
-- I Hope This Works now gives the player a slightly better starting point (free Tavern, Palaestra, Wheelbarrow and Ballistics)
-- Militia in More Bandits have been replaced with Militia Hoplites (which can be trained instead of hoplites)

ATLANTEAN
- Added Thalassocracy (200f, 200g, Heroic) which decreases the cost of dock technologies by 20%.
- Mysticism moved to Classical Age, now costs 75f, 75w. Now increases vision LOS, max vision radius and initial LOS.
-- The original Mysticism was pretty underwhelming, so this greatly helps Oracles being used as scouts.
- Added Hippodrome (150w, 400g, Heroic) which functions as a faster stable that also increases the speed of caravans, villagers and cavalry, and slightly increases citizen gather rate. Generates gold. Only one can be built.
- Eyes of Atlas correctly moved to Temple.
- Heavenly Light now correctly decreases tech favor costs.
- Resolved an issue where Heka Gigantes textures didn't change when upgraded.
- Aquaducts reduced to 40 seconds research time. Gold cost reduced to 150.
- Herbalism cost reduced to 150f, 150g.
- Oracle Scouts heal rate slowed to 0.35. Heros heal rate reduced to 0.5.
- Resolved an issue where Soldier Heroes couldn't pick up relics.
- Added Atlantean variant of Temple of Gods.

CHINESE
- Chinese can now use Monasteries to train Mercenaries.
- Restored original Chinese Heroic Age roof textures.
- Updated Chinese Academy models.
- Updated Chinese Archaic Barracks model.
- Block Printing now just costs 200 gold, and only affects Monk conversion range/LOS.
- Monks no longer affected by Fanaticism.
- Compass now available in the Classical Age, now takes 20 seconds to research.
-- Added Zodiacs (250g, Mythic) which decreases the Recharge rate of Monks by 33%.
- Added Atonement (450g, Heroic) which allows Monks to convert enemy monks, priests, gothis, seers, oracles, etc (note they do not get access to unique abilities like campfires)
- Farms cost 75 wood again and are now correctly affected by Five Grains.
- Resolved an issue where Compunction didn't affect Outlaw attack.

EGYPTIANS
- Shaduf no longer covered by Sacred Cats.
- Vanilla TC mercenaries disabled.
-- Medjay now decreases EM Mercs population counts by 1, and makes them train twice as fast.
-- Get their TC Militia back.
- Hathor no longer gets a free roc.
- Necropolis now researched at the Temple instead of the Monuments.
- Resolved an issue where Macemen didn't change upgrade names post-Medium.

GREEKS
- Added Anabasis for 275f, 150w, it improves the speed and decreases cost of mercenaries.
- Poseidon's Hippocampus reworked to be Hermes' water myth.
-- Now costs 100f, 10fa, 250 hitpoints, take up 2 population, 15 sec training time. Does 10 damage, x3 damage vs myth units, half vs heroes.
-- Poseidon now reduces train time for fishing and transport ships by 15%.
-- Militia no longer take up population, but only last for 30 seconds.
- Anastrophe moved back to Dionysos.
- Nemean Lions now stun nearby enemies when they roar.
- Greeks now start with a unique Katascopos (in line with the Norse starting ulfsark) based on the vanilla Katascopos (Untrainable, immune to certain GPs, etc)
- Persephone now has a unique GP called Return of Spring. This is just a port of Life Sprout from Age of Wrath.
- Persephone Cornucopia tech gold cost reduced to 250.
- No longer have access to Theocracy.
- Can now train Siege Catapults.
- Toxotes no longer have shields anymore; this is mostly to differentiate them from Cretan Archers more (but is also more historically accurate since Cretan Archers historically used small shields)
- Peltasts now resemble their more historically greek counter parts (the original design is used by the Thracian Peltast mercenary)
- Swapped the names of the Sarissophoros and Prodromos.
-- This was a historical goof of ES; the Sarissophoroi were armed with Sarissas and were light cavalry that used Lances whilst the Prodromoi were the mounted javelineers of Athens.
-- Prodromos (Formerly Sarissophoros) textures updated.

NORSE
- Crenellations and Arrowslits now in the same button pos as Watch Tower (since Norse only have WT and it seems redundant to have them use more than 1 space)
- Virkis now have a unique construction model.
- Odin's Ravens now require the Classical Age again.
- Now start with 3 villagers/3 dwarves.
-- If I wanted to, I could break this down big time - I'm not going to do it here. Let's just say how it was; frankly made Norse starts annoying with few benefits.
-- Now also start with the unique Ulfsark (Scout) which is functionally indentical to Ulfsarks but is immune to some godpowers.
- Frigg now gets Fire Giants and their upgrade Muspell's Sons.
- Baldr now gets Alfar, and their upgrade Svartalfheim.
