Submit your hero - TODAY!
Post a screenshot of your hero in the character creation screen and I'll implement them into the mod. I just need:
  • Faction
  • Secret Tech
  • Appearance - Post a screenshot and describe their details as much as possible.
  • Starting equipment and skills - Please reference another in-game hero. I can just copy their loadout.
  • BONUS: Post a biography here with them and I might a cool dossier page for them to the screenshots section.

Note: The hero creation system via modding has many more options then base-game leaders. You can use assets from any of the various races. For skills, please just reference a current hero for me to copy the skills from.

Just post a link to a screenshot here along with the other details and I can get started.

You can post a link to a screenshot in here and I can use that. Try and give me as much information as possible too. Sometimes the screenshots don't properly show hair, skin, and eyes.

Also, be patient with me because the editor layout is MUCH different then the in-game creator so stuff probably wont match up perfectly until I get a better way of testing them. Right now I'm doing testing by waiting until they spawn... which can take a while (I'm using the faster spawning mod). I do believe that using the map editor tool will help with this but I haven't quite mastered getting it to work yet.

Side note: This is asking a lot, but if you could put him in a laser tank mount instead, you would be the best modder I have ever seen! I would really like a tank commander. You don't have to if you don't want to.

Biography: After being in cryosleep for what seemed to be forever, he woke up to a shattered and unreconisable Earth. He remembered that his mission was to wake from cryosleep, reclaim Earth or find civilization elsewhere in the galaxy. He was in a colony ship with enough colonists in cyrosleep to reclaim the Star Union. Unfortunately, most died in cryosleep, so he had to do with what he had. He set out into space looking for allies to reclaim the Star Union or destroy the ones who get in his way of returning to the world he once knew. The ship tried colonizing many planets, some succeeded, some failed. From then on, he was known as Commander Nomad. after many years of colonizing, he found the planet he was looking for....

Is there anywhere a guide on how to create a hero?

I've tried myself to figure out what to do with the modding tools to create my own, but failed. It's so irritating that you can make a custom leader, but can't custom heroes.

Also, I appreciate what you're doing here for the community!
