Questions and bug reports
Before sending a crash report, make sure:
1. To check game files integrity via Steam;
2. At least once run game via Steam, before running RimPy.
3. Backup and delete settings.dat and colors.dat files in the next folder:
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\RimPy Mod Manager

Crash report of RimPy is stored in Logs folder next to RimPy executable. You should upload it on pastebin.com and provide a link.

Also, you should note RimPy version you have used and actions you have done before crashing,

Did you try dev build from comments section (with mod list save/load and colors added)? If so, post your ModConfig.xml from
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Ludeon Studios\RimWorld by Ludeon Studios\Config
Also, post screenshot of program running.

Saving a rule with a mod that has multiple versions available (offline backups) results in ALL versions being added to the rule list.

Clicking Sort closes the program, no indication of why.

@Malbatorus, that is intended. Since different versions of mod has the same mod name or steam code, they all will be added. But when sorting done, it will use only active one.
Try to download latest RimPy version (link in description), probably you use outdated version. New version has ability to post you mod list in better way ("To clipboard" button) also it has integrated error logging (run RimPy, press "Settings" button, replicate issue, open settings folder and open rimpy.log file, post your rimpy.log content here).
Doesn't work in 4k, when i open it. All the text is tiny and unreadable, the box is the same size and can be adjusted but the text is just impossible to see. Current workaround is change windows resolution to 1080p temporarily.

Hope your issue was fixed in new version. Let me know.
Nope, still really tiny. Also the ability to expand the lower windows would be amazing. I have several mods that have long names and when I go to drag over a bunch of mods instead of going up, it goes left or right.

Try test build from comment section. I cannot test since I do not have 4k monitor.
New test build seems to have fixed the issue. Thank you for your work on this quite useful utility.

Quick question, when I try to install a modpack, Rimpy closes itself and I have to manually restart the program, but it says that the modpack is installed when I select it. Is this normal or a bug?
Paladin  [developer] 5 Jan, 2020 @ 9:14am
It is a bug and modpack may not be fully installed. Open Rimpy, click on Settings (it will open folder where logs) and replicate crash. After crash, open "rimpy.log" in settings folder and post its content here. That will help to find what is going on.

Rimpy should never close itself. If that happens, something wrong is going on.

P. S. If that will be easier for you, you may provide a link on modpack, so I could check it myself.

rimpy.log:

CRITICAL:root:Exception
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "C:/Users/OMEGA1~1/AppData/Local/Temp/nsq5192.tmp/rimpy.py", line 1402, in installPack
UnboundLocalError: local variable 'folders' referenced before assignment

Modpack is Docs World since its the only modpack I can find.

Ok, I see what is the problem. Good news, mod packs installs fully, but unable to write some logs. I forgot to test new build with Steam mod packs and done it only with Local mod pack. Sorry, will fix it shortly.

@Omega12008, fixed the issue, consider a redownload. I didn't change version since issue didn't ruin installation/uninstallation mechanic except logs. Thank you for your report.

No problem, will run a test once I get off work in an hour or so.
