1. Insectoids create hive bases on the world map
- Home Hives (Origins of the insectoids, and are heavily defended)
- Smaller hives can be created and are weaker, but can't upgrade to home hives
2. New Insectoid types will be added
- Ranged attack insects (venom, fluids, projectiles)
- More insects (Armoured, explosive, fast moving, huge, etc)
- Possibly human-intelligent insects
3. World quests
- Hive in progress: Insects near the colony are starting to work on a new hive. To prevent them from spreading, kill/incapacitate all the insects, and destroy their nests
- Infested Mine: An abandoned mining outpost has been infected, all the ores and abandoned items are intact, but are guarded by a horde of insects
4. Weapons, apparel, items and defenses to combat the new insects:
- Anti-venom to stop venomous bites
- Frequency generators to irritate and kill insects, can only to be tuned to one frequency at a time, but can target specific insect types
- Suits and armours to resist damage from insect attacks (Acid/burn suit, protective face mask)
- Drills, oil slicks, spike guns, acid throwers, etc
WOW, can you not make me so excited for this add on?!?! Anyone have a clue on the estimated release date?
