i just saw that you have removed this mod while it was really good and especially the diplomacy and frankly I'm good to see that there are people who criticize those who do something good and above all it's clear it gave honestly this medieval side pure and frankly if I can say if you can complete or add to those one you have mid up his cool will!
frankly it's a pity that you have removed this mod so he had the potential and especially that it came out of the ordinary in the sence of fighting and recruiting women on the factions!

Kujiro and dragophage, I do hear you. When I removed it, only 26 people out of 554 subscribers had put it on their favorite list. My apologies are for all of them and you both.

As you probably know, I'm active in the comments section. I don't like the idea of ignoring the people who are playing the mod I made. I didn't make these just for them, I made them originally for me. So when I share them, I'm sharing something personal.

I was spending more time defending myself than actually playing the game or working with the code by starting a fresh first-time project that will never see the light of day. I could have deleted all the toxic posts, but that would have reduced the thread to only 7 posts out of two full pages of some pretty vicious stuff. But that was more work, and I don't like to work when I'm trying to have fun. Plus, who knows how many would have come back to repost their toxicity.

I don't mind criticism. I can handle that as it helps me to improve things. What was happening went way beyond that. Instead of reacting to pages of crazy or keep a thread clean from toxic politics, outright hate and baseless name calling and not getting much done other than that, I brought it to an end.

It's not about giving them what they want. It's about me not wanting to deal with toxicity on such high levels. I'd rather be doing something a bit more fun. I do hope you understand that.

Glad I found this post; just wanted to say I thought your other mod was top tier and honestly one of the most interesting and awesome mods I've played for Warband and was shocked to see it disappear.

I totally respect your decision as I could see the toxicity and terrible things people were saying pretty much everywhere, but just let me be known that others really appreciate your work and thought it was an awesome twist.

I know it's not much but just know that we love your work and appreciate your time!

Brother Muttonchops, thank you. The sentiments are highly appreciated. I went through a lot of effort to make a believable story line for it, one that wasn't sexist or filled with moral decay, just to have vicious sexism and moral decay tossed at me like that.

You and all others who enjoyed the mod didn't deserve to have it yanked away like that, you have no idea the amount of personal conflict I heaped upon myself for having to remove it, hence my apologies on all accounts.

I'm taking the next few months off of any kind of new-mod development and merely support the one I have, but in January, I will probably kick my mental theater back into action.

this mod was one of my favorite mods because it added some depth into the troop system. i'm glad i found this post so i can say that i truly enjoyed playing this mod and vanilla surprise. and i am certain you will make an even better mod in the future!
