Generic Features on Cities of Wonders
The list of available "upgrades" (what would be Features on a Great Work) for a City of Wonders does NOT appear to list any of the Generic Features that can normally be built on nearly any Great Work (such as Road Tolls, Watchtower Network, Great Roads, Historical Murals, and Hypocausts).

Are these buildable on a City of Wonders? And if not, what happens if you convert a Great Work that already has some of these Generic Features built into a City of Wonders?

Do they just disappear? Does the game crash or your save get corrupted? Any would be an obvious Bug/Issue that needs to be fixed...

Would someone who knows how and is willing to use console commands (I forbid myself them, because I can't resist cheating in a single player game when I know how...) please build a Great Work, add a few of these Generic Features to it, then upgrade it to a City of Wonders (the conversion is instant, I believe, but requires 20,000 Prestige and a large sum of gold) and see what happens?

So I've done some experiments: Generic features are present on Cities of Wonders (They're in the same tab from where you build the Wonders). Moreover they get updated if you build new wonders that normally would add them.
E.g: When you build a Library you get the generic features about technology spread. And you get the same things available to build in the CoW after you build a Library in it.

The maximum slots of CoW is 40 (after many gold, I don't know if it's possible to arrive at such goal in normal playthrough.) so you're actually won't be able to build every single generic feature available becasue they're much more than 40.

About the "convert GW to CoW". Can you actually do it? It seemed to me that the Modder didn't add such feature, or I'm missing the way do it because I've tried to max a GW, but the button "Convert to CoW" was nowhere.

But anyway, even if the button exists, I don't think you'd actually need it. To build a CoW you need to be an emperor and has 10k prestige, which are quite hard requirements for a normal playthrough.
Sure maybe you could achieve them with min-max strategy.

So in the case converting is not possible, you can always switch capital and build the CoW there. Or if you're sure you won't change your capital, just build GW on the other holdings and the CoW on your capital.

The button is embedded in the right-click menu, and is EXTREMELY important when, for instance, using one of the pre-existing GW counties for your capital without having the mod setting already turning that GW into a COW. Also useful for adding the mod to an existing playthrough, to make Constantinople into a CWO mid-game (the restored Roman Empire also has more than enough gold for the features limit to be relevant...)

My concern about features was, partly, that you can't duplicate them. I.e. you can't have two sets of Historical Murals if you build both a Great Temple and a Great Library/University in a City of Wonders- even though building them in different counties would normally let you have multiple murals.

Thanks for telling me about the button, I would have never found it ahaha

So, yeah, you do loose the generic features you build if you upgrade and as you say, you can't build the same generic features in the CoW (which I think it makes sense).

One bonus thing I've checked: If you upgrade to CoW with an half built GW, this will automatically update to its final CoW stage. It can be seen as good or even worst since you obviously lose all the gold and time you used to build the GW when this gets converted to its CoW counterpart anyway :P
