Bug Reports
Please first test with only this mod enabled to rule out other mods. If that doesn't work, navigate to "Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization VI\Logs" and copy the contents of your Database.txt log file into the Pastebin[pastebin.com] website. Then share that and any relevant information in the pinned topic below. If you're using Linux or Mac, there's a chance this just won't work on your operating system.

Known Issues:
  • R.E.D Total War Modpack Unified: Causes recon units to appear as only a single unit. Artdef confliction.

Hi, I've been having a problem with your Watchtower mod in that it seems to have some sort of missing asset issue. Everytime I use the ability to set down the watchtower improvement it display a large red exclamation mark on the map instead of the watchtower graphics. I've tried both the version from your steam workshop page as well as the one posted on your github page, same issue. I've tested both with other mods and without, same issue. I've tested on a current game and a few different fresh ones, same issue. Everything else about the mod works correctly, the sight increase, the ability to place it, etc. I'm also on windows 7 so I don't imagine it's the same issue people on mac/linux were having. 1.0.0.290 I think - I haven't updated it since I got my mods all set up and functional after GS launched, didn't want to have to meddle with what was working. Do you think that's the issue?

That's probably the issue, yeah. Ran into this problem on another of my mods.
Ok, I'll try that once I finish off my current campaign. Hopefully the rest of my mods play nice when I do. Thanks

When I use this mod, corps and army's cannot be formed.

Those options had to be moved to UI command overflow. Click the button to expand the interface.
Just noticed a weird interaction with a favourite modded civilisation: Durkle's Anangu https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1630546268

Since the unique unit counts as recon for level/xp it can build watchtowers, but it uses warrior models and upgrades through the melee tree. This mod seems to interact weirdly, forcing the unit to only show 1 alive at a time, and breaks combat for a second or 2, stopping the game every time the unit fights

Nothing gamebreaking, but posting on both mods to let you know.

Thanks for letting me know, and TYVM for putting it in the Bug Reports thread. To make these mods compatible, Durkle needs to check the DoNotDisplayCharges box in the Units.artdef entry for their unique unit.
i have a problem where it worked fine then i wanted to get all your other watchtower stuff and the no building limit on roads and now the button has gone i have turned the other mods i downloaded but still nothing?

its ok i have fixed it one of my other mods was stopping it from working.
Hi Sailor Cat,

I only started playing Civ 6 after getting the game free on Epic (on PC), then buying all content plus the New Frontiers DLC (and signing up for the Scout Cat) - and have just tried this really lovely mod which looks great for me as a beginner.

Just wondering if it is up to date or been broken by recent updates since the two games I've tried using it - the actual art asset doesn't seem to work, and I just see a red exclamation mark, though the function of the Watchtower still works great.

The other mods I've been using are Coloured Historic Moments, Real Great People, Terra Mirablis and Surkitact's Natural Wonders which I keep in separate sub-folders in the /Mod folder. I've tried disabling them from the game menu and using just the Watchtower mod, but have the same graphical issue.

Thanks for making this mod - I'm enjoying it a lot anyway but would be super happy if I could get the model working too!
