it isn't a bug. I have got incrased the fall-damage to balanced the shinehorn. The Shinehorn have got many good characteristics (can harvest bushes, have got self heal, can torpid wild creatures like the equus, can shine like the original shinehorn, can pretend to be dead, can transform to travel at shoulder) All this things make the magic shinehorn really nice and a little overpowered. So i have got increased the fall damage to gave a negative point.

I hear you, I've just been looking for a good rideable Shinehorn/Jerboa/Bulbdog mod, and this is one of the few that's actually good. Good damage, can actually harvest bushes AND bodies(most modders don't even bother to setup berry harvesting), it was just that fall damage.
Do you have it setup so that people could edit the .ini? It'd be nice to be able to edit it on our end, without you having to change your mod.
i need a little a bit more infos of you to help you.
1. Is it a Magic Shinehorn or a Shinehorn? You need a Magic Shinehorn. The vanilla Aberration Shinehorn was not changed!
2. Have you got tamed your Magic Shinehorn or summon via cheat command?
3. Do you play in SP or on a Server?
If you play in SP (Single Player) please cheat again one with the following command and test the functions:
admincheat SpawnDino "Blueprint'/Game/Mods/MagicShinehorn/MagicShinehorn_Character_BP.MagicShinehorn_Character_BP'" 500 0 0 15
You see the different, because the magic shinehorn is larger than you character.
If you want to see the different, open a single player world with the magic shinehorn mod.
If you are spawned, press tabulator to open the commandline and enter this:
admincheat SpawnDino "Blueprint'/Game/Mods/MagicShinehorn/MagicShinehorn_Character_BP.MagicShinehorn_Character_BP'" 500 0 0 15
After them, press again tabulator and enter the spawn-command for the default shinehorn:
cheat gmsummon "LanternGoat_Character_BP_C" 15
