Necron Update?
First of all, let me say thank you for this mod. That's often overlooked when people start asking things. This is done on your time. And thank you for updating the Nexus version, as my copy is on GOG.

My question is this, the notes say the Necron are complete, barring some quest lines. Would it be possible to update the mod with everything but the quest speech? I'm not sure if it's all ready to go without the lines, or if you just have the raw audio that still needs to be refined into an actual mod.

I play Necrons, and it's been three months or so since your last update, so I figured I'd ask. If it's too much work, or you simply don't want to I completely understand.

Thank you either way.

I second this.

I saw that the voice actor for this mod for necrons is Matthew Vanston which is an incredibly good choice for this. Its a shame to leave out all the good acting just to include quest dialogue which most people dont even need after the first few games

I think Necrons already have most of the stuff they need if you are referring to unit voices - but FULL audio is not merely quest stuff (ha, no 'merely' about that full quest audio implementation is always GLORIOUS!) but also includes new technology annoncements & the faction meet & greet lines - assuming that you didn't mean that.

Not that I could tell. I know the Destroyers have voice lines, but I think that's all I've heard. I remember being quite surprised when I heard them out of nowhere.

Many Necron units only have sounds instead of voices because those units don't have any personality/sentience in the lore. Because we are taking a very loreful approach to the mod only units high enough on the necron hierarchy to still have a 'soul' of sorts got voice lines with words. Immortals are at the bottom of the hierarchy and have a few words here and there and the heroes are towards the top end with Praetorians.

Hmm. Honestly, I can see that. Thanks for the response!
