IMPORTANT - CRAFTING README
If you don't care about the crafting additions,
then you don't need this document. All existing Cyberfangs you've bought are unchanged.
Any new ones you find for sale will be just like they've always been (except also possibly appearing in purple!)

Due to quirks in Kenshi's crafting system,
The following is unavoidable. A lot of workarounds were used to make it craftable at all! Please read to avoid headaches:

- As noted on the Description page you must purchase or find the three Ancient Tech schematics for the Hilt, the Blade, and the Plasma Emitter. (click on the black bars in the Desc if you want to know where they are and don't mind spoilers.)
- Each Ancient Tech blueprint unlocks research at a Level 3 bench (or higher).
- Those three research items take some rare mats!
- When all three are completed, you may then research the Cyberfang Katana Weapon System. This takes a little time, but no further mat cost.
- The Cyberfang Katana and all its color variants are then unlocked for crafting, as well as NEW CRAFTING STATIONS to make them at.
- There is one (small, like a plate-beating station) forge for each color. So one station makes Blue, one makes Red, etc. They have a small cost and power draw and can be turned on/off.
- YOUR NORMAL FORGE WILL SHOW THE CYBERFANG KATANA IN THE LIST, but at normal game weapon grades like "Catun no. 3," or "Mark I". Ignore it! It will only result in weird-looking broken junk.
- ALSO, THE CYBERFANG FORGES WILL SHOW EVERY OTHER WEAPON, like Polearms and Desert Sabres. Ignore them! Trying to make them will result in weird-looking broken junk.

- Lastly but not least, your weaponsmith needs a skill of AT LEAST 81 to make one successfully. That's as low as I could make it without weird things happening, like other weapon grades critting into broken Cyberfangs.

OKAY, BUT WHY?

The above is all you need to know to use the mod. If you wanna know technical details, here's what happened -

There's no way to "hide" a weapon from the crafting system or a crafting station, it's hardcoded. So the Cyberfang shows up in normal forges, and other weapons show up in Cyber forges. There's just no mechanism to change that, sorry.

Also, Ico used a neat trick to make the color variants but the game wants to treat them all as a linear scale of quality.... long story short, breaking them out into separate crafting stations was the cleanest way to allow all colors to be crafted.

Also, as many folks trying to make Meitou craftable discovered, a crit will "bump up" the weapon type to the next higher value in the list, and if it's already at the top it "wraps around" to Rusted Junk. So doing it this way should prevent "critical failures."

As a safety measure, there is a bogus uncraftable copy of the Cyberfang that's one grade higher than the craftable - this should hopefully "catch" crits and prevent Weird Things.
