Rant about getting your asses kicked in by Goc squads, or about their A.I. making Idiotic actions and stuff.

I just did the covert op, where you infiltrate a base and get like 90 intel. when i started the mission, my man (second highest rank, super op rpgo soldier) was surrunded by 10 enemies, took down of them because of some perk i have and was then killed on the GOC turn. so how tf am i supposed to have even the slightest of chances, and why would I do all of that for a measely 90 intel??

Must be something with new raider faction bases update. I never even touched or seen the mission, and all I did was follow the RealityMachina's tips. The pods I've put up weren't even that strong, and they were 3 units each, which means that somehow you got more than 3 pods spawned right on top of you. I have no idea why that happened, but it's almost certainly a bug in pod placement of reality's modden in mission. The only thing that i define in that mission are the enemy types and name of raider base.

I reported the issue to realitymachina. Maybe he'll find out what went wrong.

ok thanks. after trying it with all kinds of cheeki setups, I went in with god mode and even then it took nearly 40 minutes so it's definetly a bug

GOC Veterans have Shadowstep. Now this wouldnt be a problem for a normal squad, but most of my units are specialized in reaction fire, and for that reason the guys that are supposed to be the most expendable unit of GOC became even a bigger problem than Arbitrators and Archfiends
