Stirling generator idea
There is idea to create stirling generator which convert heat from environment into and cool the generator and then cool things around it

So, there is a bug which doesn't let generators (no matter which one) to replace heat with the generator, so when I place metal floor and over it the generator, it won't heat up/cool down

Not really, I had some issues with implementation, this will require a refactor which I don't have time to perform

I would check hydro-gen idea
and also I would check the stirling one, but since there is already a mod I encourage you guys to give your love to other devs who spend some time to develop this things
