Hi all, please use this thread to discuss the BAI and CAI that Bran has kindly produced for WOTG. With testing in mind and reports that come in this will help to make battles better!

Ok all new update on CAI in game, Save game compatible. AI will Defend regions better and hold on to what they gain and will be a bit more expansive. The AI will be a tougher nut to crack.

Ok all , CAI Tweaks Mods updated in downloads thread. Added 3 new files and did some tweaking to other settings for better game play. Diplomacy is different, more offers from allies to join wars etc.

CAI mod updated some changes to allow Spies to have abilities available earlier in game and other diplomacy tweaks. Also additional garrisons Mod added to download page

CAI Mod updated with who can make confederations and attitudes file as when AI will be you friend or enemy. This will be final update for some time on the CAI till more gameplay and reports are back in

14/9/2018 - Main mod updated with Tweaks to make allies help you in game and regional defense. Also some small changes to diplomatic agreements.

Main Mod (5.7) updated with Tweaks to naval movement and Naval "Slinger" spam is now removed. Have also made some changes to some buildings that were using 4 x costs from a previous mod.

Update to Main mod (5.7.1) with fixes to Slinger damage reduced, Also changes to CAI - Factions that are friendly will grant more treaties and trade and military access. Lowered the recruitment points for AI so they do not make armies too big to soon. Changes to recruitment times so better quality troops will take a few more turns. Finally added 167 new maps for selection screen to all factions in mod.

Update to Main mod (5.7.2) today with fixes to Hoplites and Pikemen not working in battles correctly and some minor tweaks to other files

Main mod updated to version 5.7.3, Updates to AI will be more open to Trade,military alliances, and defensive alliances. AI will attack enemy forces and settlements more and defend their own regions and captured regions and counter attack to take back lost regions, Ai factions will get a small money boost. AI will attack with supporting armies, there will be more AI confederations,diplomatic relations, AI will be a bit more aggressive, raised army cap by two per fame level. AI and player should be able to recruit 2 spies on fame level 2 on up capped at 4 this will help AI and player to open diplomatic actions with other factions sooner. Overall this should make the game more interesting with more action and strategic options. Also added are more Deployables which strengthens and increases the quantity of barricade, stake and spike deployables in a fortified stance.

Changes to balance out the morale of the player vs ai forces per campaign difficulty. ai will get very slight charge bonus per difficulty of campaign. Also Hoplites now have charge bonus, melee attack, melee defence and shield defence, as these entries were missing from units.

Better sea region defense, port blockade behaviour.,Sweetners for Epirus,Macedon,Pontus,Parthia and Armenia,Rome,Carthage,Celtic tribes and some German and Gaul factions too.Better regional development and research,new trigger events for battles, new fame levels more armies per level, tweaked civil war % occurence,factions will help allies more,ai attacks and defends with groups armies.changed diplomatic reliable behaviours for some major factions so they will accept offers more.

your mod has potential but lacking in some areas several units that are cavalry in the picture are on foot mercenary amzonian riders callavus are 2 that come to mind boudica has noone riding in the chariots in imperator augustus and the picture of her is a roman navy ship

ok i have checked what you have stated and my concerns are as follows...Boudicea is only available in Grand Campaign..so how he hell you go her in Imerator Augustus?? can you also tell e the exact name of unit so I can look this up correctly...also are you using other mods? as I think this is a mod conflict. please confirm. Can you also post in main thread please so we can respond back easier, as this section is for BAI and CAI related problems, thanks

Amazonian Riders and Cavallius fixed...however Boudicea is not in Imperial Augustus campaign so unsure why you have that in your game..mod conflict maybe?
