shift module for centering?

Could CSUR include a shift module that shifts any lane to the center in one jump? Modules like 1R4P=1C would make transitioning between off–ramps and an intersection a lot easier. I’ve taken a look at the Github repo, but to say that it looks a little complex would be an understatement.
