Some thoughts regarding the stagnation of HRE/Italian factions and a question about Slaughter version of this mod.
Hello Bran, I hope you take the time to read this and not take it anything negative or overly critical since I speak with much love for your work and passion since I've spent a great deal of time playing with this version as well as the Slaughter version of your mod.

Is it possible to modify some of the AI's prolific alliance making early on in the game, or just in general since it causes every other game I play to either have the Crusader states allying with muslim factions and ending up in war with everyone who declares the first crusade, thus making them not stand much of a chance at all, while also not making much sense. This is even more of an issue I feel in the Italian factions since they almost always start allying up with one another and remain stagnant early. mid and late game and they essentially just stay as weak city states since nobody is fighting for dominance, thus making Italy just a cakewalk in general for the player and the occasional outside force. No resurgent Kingdom Lombardy for example, or Sicily making any relevant moves more often then not. This remains especially true for the HRE and they either remain completely a none factor staying much the same until Flanders usually or the Danes just gobble them up, rather then you getting things like a Kingdom of Brabant or Trier and so on since they just end up all allying with one another and not doing much of anything. All of this was much more improved in your slaughter version, or if u have the Judgement day achievment enabled to actually make some radical changes in how things can progress. Sadly your slaughter version of this mod which I loved the most has the issue with the increased unit sizes, which makes 9 out of 10 sieges just end up with the AI not doing anything at all, especially during naval invasions in which they send maybe 3-6 ships in and the rest just stays out in the water. Which is really sad since I found your Slaughter version to be the most fun, but the unit increase in size causing the already horrid AI of Attila to become especially mentally challenged making it rather unplayable.

So thus far I still prefer this version of your mod since diplomacy is so much more improved in general, cus in the Judgement day achievment enabled diplomacy is a none-factor which is a bit of a bummer, and in the Slaughter version which brought the best of both worlds has the issues I mentioned above with the AI path finding making it unplayable. Would it be possible to have your slaughter version of this mod series of yours have a version without the unit size increase, or is there maybe something me as an individual can change my end? Either way, I hope you read this and maybe can explain a bit of whats possible in what I've suggested and what isn't, such as the thing with the alliances and such.

I lowered the unit sizes by 15% from what they were with this new update. I will change the diplomacy difficulty thanks.
