Not sure how to upload images directly onto this discussion, but heres my campaign map. Playing as Nicaea I'm on the road to reunite the Roman Empire, and the game has responded well. With my assistance the Holy Land was retaken by my vassals, the Hafsid sultanate has been broken by my attacks from the South and my Pisan allies from the north, while the Almohads and Marinids have overwhelmed all of Iberia and have taken part of France just like they did hundreds of years ago in their first conquest. I fought off Hungarians and Mongols in the Steppes north of the Caspian, and I razed all of Hungary to eliminate any threats in the future.
Overall, every faction is aggressive while protecting their homeland, factions know when to send peace offers, they know when to be vassalized, and my allies will respond to my coordination points, albeit slowly and only if theyre not preoccupied. Even without my influence factions will win battles, conquer territory and hold them. Factions know when they should ally with me to further their own gains. Their diplomacy is perfect, the faction know what to do in their situations. Now, as I assert my power over the entire Eastern Medditerannean, the HRE is becoming ever more hostile as we edge ever closer towards the epic war that will decide who truly deserves the name 'Roman Empire'. In other campaigns without your mod, I played two without it and three with them, the factions floundered and the map remained ultimately unchanged until I easily vassalized everyone in the game.
You, my friend, have done some serious work that has fixed the campaign mod and diplomacy, pushing it somewhere I never thought total war could go. Love ya Bran
The Plight of France: Turn 22
I am planning on making a narrative for this discussion soon for this campaign.
Wales now backs up their English allies - be wary as France if you invade!!

Just hit turn 60 for a normal campaign for France. Beat off a huge HRE invasion and about to fend another Genoese naval invasion in Genoa.
France, turn 99. Normal difficulty.

Here are the screenshots I meant about not having any religious penalties, the Teutonic Order and any other Christian factions have no religious differences penalties while other religions such as Islam receive the penalty. Hoping for a fix
If you need more proof, I can share screenshots of other Christian and non Christian factions.
