A bit too wrinkly for me
IMO it would be beneficial to remove some of the visual clutter and leave some spaces plain

You might wanna be more specific about which areas. Revenant is one of the more detailed frames in the game. Thats why i didnt want to hold back with this skin. This also gives it much more depth than my prevoius bland and flat version

Alright so, the areas like the chest and shoulder pads have these energy lines, decals and these bumpy ridges, all of which are running parallel to eachother. I know a lot of effort was put into making these details, but in the end I feel like they're adding too much visual noise to areas that usually benefit from being more plain. My suggestion would be to make the motif bolder yet more scarce, if you catch my meaning. Have the detailed areas contrast with plain ones.

Perhaps you might prefer the earlier version that i uploaded at first? https://i.imgur.com/4coMT6X.png

It's missing the decals, but the textures and rendering are also less polished since i didn't have time.

The contrast between dense and sparse details is a design philosophy that all the base warframes have. However after looking at some of the deluxe skins like titania, ivara and some other tennogen skins like, nighthunter nidus, technopsyche nyx and malya's skins, i noticed that they were all very detailed in most areas. This led me to believe that what mattered the most, was the distribution of the color tint areas, rather than the details. This was also one of the reason that my first rhino skin was rejected.

Although i'll take your feedback into account when this too probably gets rejected by DE. And then i will try to find the right compromise between the details and sparse areas.

I certainly hope it doesn't come to that. I really, really would like to see this skin accepted.

It already has been rejected, now i'm just waiting for DE's feedback, they said it would be sent out this week.
