Extreme lag when diplomats are on boats!!!

Can't play with AI on big map size.The game starts too lag when the AI send diplomats on board.
This doesn't just happen to me.

perhaps a mod for diplomats to tp would go a long way if thats the only reason this gives us lag, i also noticed when playing on world size 150% it ran perfectly smooth even with diplomats en route
