Bug Reports & Known Issues
Here you can post any bugs or anything else you may think is not working as intended, and you can also find the list of any currently known issues.

Known Issues
  • The Co-Emperorship law won't update if a Co-Emperor dies, or if the Co-Emperor loses the Co-Emperor title somehow without the Appoint/Depose decisions being used for it. The workaround for this that usually works is to appoint or depose Co-Emperors until the law is at it's correct position.

for some reason it gives 20 gold per month to each co emperor, a little excessive for my taste, the gold just randomly appears it is not paid for by the player. it is a little bit overpowered especially early in the game .

Thank you for your report! The high salary is ported directly from the original mod, though I wasn’t aware that the salary was so high. By looking at the code, I think the intention was that the monthly salary was supposed to only be 5, but this is multiplied by 4 in the game which gives the questionable high salary.

In the next patch, the current monthly salary value will be divided by 20, which will bring the monthly salary for the Co-Emperors down to around the same salary level as the other job/minor titles.

What version of HIP are you using? Are you using CPRplus?

You aren’t supposed to be able to change that law manually. It’s supposed to automatically shift when you appoint or depose Co-Emperors/Symbasileis.

okay and i do that by using the character interaction that you have added? I seams to be saying that i will cet tyrany. What dicides if i get that?

Yeah, you do it with that kind of interactions. You can only appoint without tyranny if the character you are appointing is your child, or alternatively your primary heir (heir to the empire).

I have noticed that when my Basileus leads an army, his portrait somehow turns to him being imprisoned. Is that normal?

Are you using HIP with CPRplus enabled? I've not tested it without CPRplus, so without CPRplus there might be issues.

Also, are there any other portrait mods you are using?
Alpharion 26 May, 2020 @ 4:14am
I used "Byzantine Looking Byzantine Portraits!!!".
kurthakon  [developer] 26 May, 2020 @ 7:53am
I see. It's supposed to be compatible with CPRplus, but I'm not sure if Byzantine Looking Byzantine Portraits!!! is compatible with HIP. My mod alone should not cause issues like you experienced since my portrait changes are rather minor. The only thing that might potentially cause it is the CPRplus issue I previously mentioned.

Does this affect the formation of the Roman Empire decision? Because every time I start, the Imperial Reconquest CBs are gone and I could somehow form the Roman Empire right off the bat as long as I have the required gold, prestige and piety.

Nope, this mod doesn't affect anything related to CBs or any of the Roman Empire decisions.

Because I compared the original mod and this one and that's what I noticed. That when I have this mod instead of the original, all the Imperial Reconquest required in the Restore the Roman Empire CB is already ticked as if I already have them even though I just started.
